gestational diabetes

Hi all Mums & MTB, I was diagnosed with GD at Week 26 after doing my OGTT. I am with NUH under private patient. I have to prick 2 days a week. 1 day x7 times. May I know anyone have spikes before? And yes, are you place on insulin jab straightaway? Do GD usually goes away after delivery?
