    Tonsil to be remove

My boy removed his enlarged tonsils and andenoids when he was almost 3 - before that, he often snored and whenever he is down with flu, he has very bad blocked nose and will almost always puke after drinking milk. 1+yr after removing them, he no longer snore now and even his flu seems much less...

Re pumping in office I have not returned to work, but what I did previously for #1 was pump 2x in office. The first was usually before official start time ard 830 (coz my boy usually woke up for milk ard 4am which I will latch) and then ard 3pm again. If I can wake up to pump before going to...

wooooh... I have bad vibes with Dr Sim for my #1 so now my MIL brings #1 to see this PD in Tampines or Dr Phoon at Healthway Elias. The twins are seeing Dr Kenny Ee as he was assigned by my gynae. Very nice chap, so think I will try to stick to him or Dr Vas at Kinderclinic Parkway Parade. Only...

p1nk1e, I'm staying near Elias mall. My CL is still around and she's superb - I basically just need to focus on building my milk supply and she takes care of everything else. However, she's leaving next week and the real test will begin. Hubby is taking leave to help me settle down...

Yep I have twins but with all the govt + staff subsidies, sending the twins to infant care is slightly cheaper than hiring a maid for me. However, I'm worried about all the viruses from infant care... I prefer to go for helper with my MIL supervision but my MIL already has a lot of problems...

bdmummy, the Pigeon one I'm using does not have bulb and suction is through the tube via our mouth. Maybe it's a different one to what you are referring to? p1nk1e, haha, yes, we can but I have twins! I can't bring both out on my own until they are much bigger. haha... Think it might be a...

Ryan_leroy, lol, yes, I've heard of it, but like what Joey says, I think it depends on how comfortable your hubby is though they always say baby latching is the best. Anyway, hope you have recovered from your fever! It's probably a matter of time before you get back your supply - stay positive!

I also have different BM supply from both sides and it can be as bad as 3 times the difference, for e.g. 40ml from one side and 120ml yield from another for the same pumping time. It has been like that even when I was breastfeeding #1 3 yrs back and I attributed it to less developed milk glands...

Other than fenugreek, can try Fennel tea - it was highly recommended by the lactation nurse though I must say the taste is quite an acquired taste. I have stopped taking it coz I don't really like the taste. Btw, you can purchase Fenugreek off the Bulk Purchase section.

Ctrus, check out http://kellymom.com/bf/got-milk/basics/milkproduction/ You may need to increase pumping/latching to increase your milk supply. Meanwhile, don't be too hard on yourself and end up having post-natal depression over milk supply. Jia you!

Sylvia, yup yup you are so right, the lactation nurse did mention baby's mouth too small. Anyway, I'm finally done with my pumping. Gonna go sleep now... I realised having sufficient sleep is important for supply, so mummies, do try to have as much as rest possible. Jlau and mummies who gave...

Bblove/Slyvia, I think it depends - I ended up having to pump after latching because my girls have small appetite and I had engorgement... It's double the time at times. Moreover, mine are twins and I feel really abused (aka sore) after every latch. However, the best thing about latching is the...

Finally have some time to check the forum today though I have not finished reading everything. Fullhouse, Overall I think my stay at Mt E was very pleasant. Apparently I was the only one to check in the labour ward for delivery on Sunday according to one of the nurses and every nurse who...

Hi all, I've delivered my twins yesterday morning. Waterbag broke around 1.30am and I went for emergency c-sect. My babies are of pretty good weight at 2.4/2.5kg (for twins). One of them was in NICU for a day's observation but is out in the normal nursery now so everything is going on well...

Fullhouse, Not sure if Dr Ong does episiotomy because he was overseas when I delivered #1 early (imagine my shock at the hospital when the nurse told me so), but he has never brought that up for discussion throughout my #1 pregnancy. This time round, I have been told to go for C-sect right from...
