Hi Keira, We did the DIY way...got the PR in 6 months. That was almost 2 yrs ago. Rules might have changed.

Hi Pinky Poh, I didn't know o apply for child's Visa cost $3k. I thought it's about $2k. I am delivering here in April and will have to apply for my child's visa too. Yeah, like you, I'll have to do so before hubby goes over.

Any mummies gave birth in Perth? How much do you have to pay as a PR for your medical hospitalization fees? How may days was your stay? Is this a government or private hospital?

Hi Momresource, I think we paid abt $3k in all, including medical checkup and IELTS (not academic) for 2 pax. This was more than 1.5 years ago.

Mngo, I think your explanation seems right about the semi-Private schools. Now the most important thing is for my hubby to find a job first.
