Hi Mommies,

Just a question from you. Have you all decided which doctor to go to? What are the factors in you selecting the doctor of your choice?

I am really confused now on which doctor to go for although I have one from my first child but travelling to visit is a problem as we don''t drive and somwhere very convinient would be perfect but private clinic charges is really high.

Please give me your valuable comments or recoomendation please!

Thanks:)

My gynae is quite basic I'll say. 1st trim folic acid, 2nd trim onwards iron +calcium +dha all the way. Only have necessary checks like oscar and blood test for mummy. :)

Hi ladies, I'm 5w5d, LMP 12 Feb.

However, this little one is 'Made in Japan', Tokyo, to be exact and this happened when we least planned for it.

Having heard several unfortunate stories related to conceiving/pregnancy while in japan, I am very worried.
Appt with gynae will be on 2 April so till then, we are keeping our fingers & toes crossed.

Anyone has any 'success' stories to share abt conceiving while in japan?

Hi! For me, I asked around my colleagues and friends. And I decided on mine because it was recommended by 2 different friends (one with 3 kids and one with 2 kids) and since all 5 babies come from the same gynae and strongly recommended by my friends, I decided to just go with it :)

Don't worry! My gf did not know she was pregnant and went ahead with her Japan trip. Even lugged a 8kg bag and climbed a snow mountain. Her pregnancy was smooth throughout and delivered to a healthy boy! :)

My #1 is turning 14mths tmr.. still too young to understand that there's a bb in my tummy.. but i'm starting to tell her that she is a bigger girl now and there will be a younger sibling whom she needs to help mummy n daddy love n take care of.. according to her ifc teachers, she's pretty loving to the younger bbs in her group n will rock them in their rockers or stroke them n kiss them.

i din have ms for #1, appetite was gd, #1 came out at wk37 at 3.41kg.
this rd fatigue hit me even before i tested, ms is bad n getting worse.. threw up my lunch n dinner for the past 2 days...

jia you mummies!

Thanks fluffyduckx84 and Janine for your replies!

Been experiencing spotting on and off yesterday and today. It was pinkish, then brownish with a hint of dark red.
Hope this doesn't continue...

For me, I chose convenience. There's a gynae clinic near my house and when I went to search online, he seems popular, so I went to him for my #1. There's good reviews and very bad reviews on my gynae, Lawrence Ang. After going to him for my #1, he is abit of those nonchalant kind, very chop chop, if u don't ask questions, he won't say anything, he will sometimes brush off your concerns just like that. Probably because it is his character and also he has ALOT of patients. So, if you need more patience, lots of explanation (which is understandable for 1st pregnancy), then he is not the one for you. Having said that, if u do ask questions, he will take the time to answer. I'm going back to him for #2, mainly for convenience sake. His clinic is just walking distance and I can't be bothered to find another gynae.. hahaha.

Hi all, =) I tested positive last week and just went for my first gynae visit yesterday.
Currently at week 5. But all I can see is just a small black bean that the gynae said is the water bag.
Please add me on facebook, [email protected]

Thanks!

Hello everyone! I'm having my first baby, estimated due in Nov 2014. Excited and stressed at the same time. Hope to get to know other mummies and mummies-to-be here!

Same gynae as me!He was recommended by so many friends.. yeah i quite like him, so going back to him for #2 as well.. i mean aside from his cold jokes and speed of speech, he's laid back and quite the fatherly figure.

Phew, just went gynae visit & saw baby's heartbeat... 8 weeks 2 days now... btw my eldest kid is 11yrs old+ & guess I'm the oldest mummy here... :)

Congrats twinkle5tars... must feel relieved and excited to see that lil bunny heart beat!!!
Woww... ur elders already 11yrs old... well, mine first is 7 yrs old, does that mean, im the second oldest mummy here?? hehehe

My ms is on off. Yesterday nauseous and headache until had to see GP for panadol and maxolon. But energy came back today, can do household chores.

Im only 4w5d and i am also worrying over what the future holds. Had an emotion roller coaster ride since last week. Don't worry yourself... let nature takes its course k. Of course, being emotional is common due to our hormomal changes. Talk to hub about your fears... or cry it loud? Give u a big hug!
