however i didnt sign up the class. she is not ready to be left alone in new classes esp now cos she is having difficulties to fit into school again after the holiday break. me too also concern for the safety issue. these classes are more accessible to the public unlike her marymount kindy.

then i was in dilemma. past week i didnt know what i should do. i have been reading sharings by parents on the extra classes that their 3 year old kids hv to attend every week. seeing the berries kids so 小大人 already. will i be doing more harm than good if i am over protective. or should i insist on having her to attend ec so that she will not be too far behind when entering pri. googled so many types of classes (academic) and i have not even started my child any. i even questioned myself whether i have sent her to wrong kindy cos no doubt mmk is really good but more for fun and play than study.

not sure any mummies having this concern about ec. when is exactly the right time to start?

anyway decided to take it easy. no point stressing her and myself. just got her a tutor but more like a playmate. 3x a weeek just to come over to play with her, intro chinese and writing. hopefully it will work out well for her and when she is ready for ec then here we come... berries, cma, jan&elly.......... :-)

Hihi everyone,

DD just started her classes at Yamaha, Shichida and Ballet last week.

Yamaha and Shichida - Good time to bond with the kids plus can see if child can follow instructions or not (parents sit in)

Ballet - first two lessons a little 'messy' but from third lessons onwards, parents and children (not in the class) will not be able to sit in, so I guess, hopefully will be better.

Hi Angel,

No lah... Just giving her the exposure. :-) didn't sign up for Bebe ballet eventually as the timing was not suitable.

I enrolled her for the ballet in a CC. Just brought her the ballet set last week. :-) My mum brought her for the lesson last week and she commented that it can be kind of dangerous cos one of the girls was always 'walking over' the other girls when they were lying on the floor doing their exercises. *sign*

Hi all,
Hope some of you still check out this thread.
I am wondering if any of your kids have already weaned off Formula milk? I know one child has from this thread and wonder if many others had.

My Sarah is still so dependent on Formula. Every night, she will ask for at least 2 feeds. She eats well in the day and I wonder if I should stop the feeding. Problem is, she will go hysterical when i refuse to make the milk for her at night. =(

Hi Just Me!

No leh my girl is still on FM too...is there a guideline as to when they should stop?
I thought most kids take milk as in FM till they are quite old and it was good?

hi justme

my girl drinks averagely 4 to 5 times (240ml)a day. used to be worried but now i feel it is better for her cos it allows her take in more liquid. what i do is to dilute the milk by putting much lesser milk powder. it is difficult for our kids to stop anyway cos they have little brother still depending on milk. so take it as their sibling bonding time when they drink together on the bed la. anyway tried fresh milk b4 but she didnt like it.

just to add on to the earlier post... i also feel better cos there is at least 1 litre of liquid intake (240ml x 5 bottles)everyday excluding plain water. kids really do perspire alot.
i also add a little of spirulina powder to their milk cos it is soooooooooooooo difficult to make them eat veg. so it is like one stone kill two birds.
