I realize toilet training is so much more convenient for boys. During emergencies, bottles/cups can be used whereas for girls, these equipments are virtually useless - haha.

I saw some posts here say Cambridge at AMK good ah? I went to Cambridge at SGCC which is new and quite shock. Dunno is it coz of new opening. Actually I went there twice thinking of enrolling my kids but very messy. There are a few china teachers there. I think china teachers all wanted the child to be independent or perhaps I am too "kan cheong" with my kids so I didnt sign up. One day I went in the morn there are no space for the kids to have their breakfast. The table is so cramp no water for them as well. I am surprised as this is the first time I went childcare center that they do not provide water during breakfast. The kids sit there or run around waiting for food. Then some of the kids got Milo. One of them spill on table and to be frank I am shocked that one of the china teacher ask the older kid to take tissue to clean for the younger kids! The milo still got "smoke" one hor. I even stepped on staple on my first visit. On my 2nd visit, I saw the toilet flooded and the teacher actually still bring the child to the toilet so I wait and see if the teacher clean leg for the child but she didnt. I see the toilet flooded so dirty and smelly. Its really an "eye-opener" for me keke. When they bath it is even more messy. 2 - 3 kids cry as they are naked and waiting for their turn. The fans are on and some sneezing. I went NTUC one once and saw they left the kids there to cry till quiet. At this center, I noticed too. So wondering is it all the same? When your kids got mucus no one will clean and they actually ask the older kids to clean table, clean floor for them? I think it is OK to clean IF the teacher is VERY sure that the things is not HOT/DIRTY or using CIF. I did see at NTUC Festival Mall there, the teacher ask the students to use CIF to clean table. I really cant imagine their hand so delicate and got to use so strong detergent on them. After visiting a few childcare I really think dunno how. Wanna enrolled them to school but the school really dun care one. I saw Cambridge so exp 995.1 vs NTUC 525 and frankly, the way they treat kids are similiar.

powerpuffs, Joshua settles down at cc very fast. But he keeps falling sick. Guess its hard to avoid when go cc.

I know what you are going thru. If #2 is not a difficult bb then its considered very lucky already.

Shers, I also haven't think about pri school for #1. Still got few yrs leh.

Allooooo!!!! really long time no check in here *lol*

Sher, my boy is also attending Pre-N @ Catholic Kindy. Which class is she in? (oops! just re-read your post and realised that your gal is at SFX Kindy @ sgn gdns *lol*) and so fast u'r shortlisting pri scools hehee.. well, good to plan early yeah :-) Those schools u shortlisted are catholic schools, except for Rosyth. If you're Catholic, shdn't be an issue, you can enrol via the phase 2A or 2B if I'm not wrong. Parent's volunteer dun give 100% guarantee that you'll get a placing, if the applicant is over surplus, still have to go thru balloting.

powerpuff, how are u coping with 2?

Irene, really admire you to handle the 2 by yourself, I'm still trying to sink the idea and hopefully can have a good plan soon... alot of adjustments gonna be done.

Sporty, so fast u're going back to work already... and I'm looking forward for to my ML hehehehe..

sporty, irene,
well, I think generally the kiddo will tend to fall sick when they start schooling/attend CC, coz X also been having running nose.. when almost recovered, it strikes again... agree with sporty, just have to give them vitamins and rest more over the weekend.

I'll work till I pop lor... so ML will then officially start by the day I pop :-) Tentatively, the plan is as such, but I reckon we'll need to get a maid eventually.

powerpuffs, think my #2 shd almost sleep thru liao! nowadays her last feed is at 9ish and she sleeps all the way till 5/6am then i will latch her/pump then prepare to go to work...

nope, my mum is not taking care of #2 as she cant help becuz of my dad... so now my hb works from home and he take care of #2 as well...so he has to handle 2 kids before athan goes to skool from 7ish to 8ish in the morning and in the evenings after he's back from skool and before i'm home lor... so everyday is a mad rush for the whole family!

The #1 falling sick in cc is really headache. When he sick he cannot go school and I have to face 2 kids the whole day! And I super scared meimei kana from gor gor.

Its hard to let Joshua rest more on weekends as its time to GO OUT for me. Wahaha...I stay home the whole weekdays so weekend I wanna go out. Joshua will say he wanna go 'gai gai' too on weekends.

Pinkzee, I also admire myself ah!!! I think I am a mad woman everyday...with the housework and cooking and looking after Jayla. Evening time even more busy when Joshua is back from cc.

Sporty, don't say 3mths ah. My 6 mths also just fly pass and suddenly Jayla is 6mths old.Think the time pass faster for no.2
