Tiffy,
suggested to my hubby about taking bloom shoots. Guess what, he tell me to wear bikini by our poolside and he volunteer to take the pictures for me ! Well, he used to be in the photography society but I must be brave enough to wear bikini at condo pool in the first place. Ha ha ! |

Jovialz, there was once I went to my sis condo for a swim when my tum tum quite big. Den alot of ppl look at me coz I was wearin onli a sports bra & shorts. hahaha... :p indeed abit pai seh lah. Like wat Tiffy said, go at a time dat less ppl will b ard lor.

Wah..Bloom shoot.. actually I a bit regret never taking pregnancy photo but hor for my 1st pregnancy, I was so bloated and have so many ugly welts that I just don’t feel like taking pictures. But with naia really regret leh cos I was quite slim but welts still there lah.. So, again very shy to take. But a bit regret now May be if I have the 3rd one, then I will surely take.. But hor, right now, I can’t imagine having a 3rd child..haha…

not sure if the items can help you or not. But caelen eczema was very bad and see PD given medication and cream also no use. It only improve and eventually gone after I start to let him use CB's shower and the moisture cream.

Hi Mummies,
I have been so stressed with work lately... Supposed to be a "simple" job, but now, I am so stressed up. My boss added me with more loads!!! Think I havent been in the right mood lately as Andrea is again down with fever and she will whine in her sleep almost every night. Making me so tired and become sleepless. Last night, I was awaken by her, cannot sleep, so, woke up at 3plus am to cut my nails.. hahhaha
Haiz... feel exhausted today... Hopefully I can bring back my mood to and enjoy myself during lunch with all to ROCKIE mummies.

I have learnt not to rely/depend on my IL much these days liao.. Its always hard to "order" them to do things, so, lucky and thank God, I have a capable maid, so, my maid will handle most of my kids stuff. Mentioned to you last week, I quite sian regarding my Australia trip that we wont be bringing my maid, only bringing IL and hopefully they will "zi tong" and give me helping hands as much as possible lor....haiz..
Also, my MIL used to be very "gian" grandchildren and assured me that she will look after my kids while I work. Thinking that she will be super-hands-on and that I can relax.. haiz..... suay suay....#*(@*()@)@&*(@.. Tell you more about it tomorrow lah...

hi mummies, just a sign of life from me, drowning under work and tonnes of marking, back to sleepless nights or 2-3 hours max, and then teaching the very next morning...

Twinklestars I said I wantd to pass u the bottles but so sorry i just got dumped more work, right in the middle of my exam marking so couldn't make it...i feel so bad that you took the time to come all the way to my place and now i can't even find the time to go over....except mebbe at 1am in the morning...(yes, that's the average/earliest time when i finish my work most days)

any HR experts here? I need to seek advise. As some of you might know that I m undergoing a training to be a part time trainer for kids enrichment school. I hv signed a contract which clearly states that I hv to be a trainer for 2years, should I back out during these 2years, I would need to pay them 12k. Note that it's applies only when I start teaching.

Can call MOM/MCYS to check on the rules & regulation. I guess so long it's not stated in the contract, then you should not be bonded to pay back if they asked you to leave.
The question brings back to... 'They can just get trainees and then asked them to leave, and get the penalties from the trainees?'
Sounds unfair... You may want to further check with the in-charge person about the details for the penalty before being able to seek advice from MOM/MCYS. |

Jas, if its not mentioned or stated in the contract, den its not fair to u dat they asked u to compensate them. As "usual", make the matter big if they wanna pursue the 3k. But of coz u gotta b very confirmed dat its not mentioned anywhere in the contract abt the compensation. I'm not a HR expert but tink we all need black & white in these matters.
Yesterday was a very tough day for me & my family. My beloved cat of 15 yrs died. My dad discovered him in the store room. He seldom go into store room unless he is afraid of certain loud noises or strangers. I recv the call from my mum while at work den she asked me wat to do. I was dumbfounded & she hanged up after I dunno wat to say. When I finally got myself together, I called her to wait for me to reach home. I wanna see him off for his last journey. My bro & sis were informed too & they also took urgent leave to go back home. Memories of him pei-ing me during my school days, happy & sad times all flooded back into my head as I was on the way back. I kept cryin. I didn't noe it was such a deep impact. As I watched his body, it dawned on me dat he will no longer b ard to "meow" at me whenever I go back my parents' place. He will not pester me for food...allow himself to b tortured by Travis...run ard & bump his butt at the door...use his forehead to snuggle my face...
its depressing. He has been a great companion to whole family. |

But someone's reaction triggered my 反感 towards him. It's my bro in law. Yesterday he called my sis when she went back. Den said we all very 夸张 to go to such measures for a cat. Den kept sayin "com on lah...its juz a cat" -_- such unfeelin words. To us, he is more den a cat. Lucky my hb didnt say dat. When I asked my hb if we r being 夸张 to send my cat for cremation, he said "nope, whoever said dat hav never had a pet b4, so he/she dunno the attachments we had together"...15yrs...its more den a decade.

I'm not from HR but I can share my similar situation. I was bought over by my previous co. so they helped to pay the 1 month notice period salary to my ex ex co so that I can join them immediately. Then after I joined, they made me sign an agreement saying that because they paid the 1 month salary for me, I have to be with them for at least 6 months, if I leave earlier, I have to pay them back. I was quite pissed at that because this was not discussed and agreed during the interview and only after I joined. If I knew about it, I would just serve my 1 month notice instead and not be tied by them.
My guess is if they never make you sign any agreement to pay back 5k, I don't think they have the right to ask you to pay if it's just verbal.

'jie ai shun bian'... ur cat must b happy to hv all of u rushed bk to send him at his last journey... when both my dogs passed away (due old age but 1 of them 'hanged' himself cos he's blind & accidently got his leash entangled with the other dog).. we also sent them to animal hospital for proper cremation... they r definitely part of the family esp aft 10 over years w us..
btw, any mummies working or passing by suntec today till sunday 11.30-1930hrs? can help me buy a T-shirt? Hello Mummies,
Finally can relax abit now... Was a mad rush since this morning till now, can sit down for a piece of Rich & Good Swiss roll and hot tea.
Thanks Hippo and Junnie for asking about Andrea. Last night was terrible.... she couldnt sleep well, so am I. She was coughing non- stop through the night and I worry sick until I cant sleep too. Her fever has been On since Monday, but it has been hovering between 37.3 to 38.3. See her cough until so xin ku, and I also very xin ku, decided to bring her to PD despite already seen GP on Tuesday and on Anti-Biotics. Haiz... she is again wheezing and put on Neubiliser again.... Hope she will get better and sleep well tonight and all of us too.
Rush to office after sent her and maid back and only have 1 hour to check and reply some emails, rush to meet the 3 other chio bus for Japanese lunch... woohoo... shiok.... I had a great time and it really lighten my heart and felt so relaxing after all the gossipings over a sumptous lunch. Ecookie, Yeah mann.... today again so much exchanges until cannot finish saying ..... hahhahha.. Yes.. should do it more often.
Want the pictures to be on FB or email to personal account? Let me know. Anyway, can only do it next week when I bring my USB to office.

Dinner? I would really love to, but it would be abit tough for me as I usually need to rush home to take over the kids to relieve my "monster" MIL.... kekekke... so bad.. actually she is not monster la.... just that I have to change my expectation of her role as she is also tied up with other kids.
I plan to take leave once a week on every wednesday to bring the kids out during June holidays. Want to accompany the kids, also to relieve my IL side. The kids have 1 month of holiday, really headache how the kids gonna pass time at IL house with 4 kiddos there... sure fight and super noisy until IL go crazy.
SAHM mummies.. Interested? Go beach/ picnic/ swimming/ playgrounds/ playdates etc.. plan to take 9th June and hopefully all the wednesdays if work permits. |

I do give the kids "dong cong cao" in powder form, add to manuka honey for them to drink. Dont find their cough improves lei. TCM says it is good for cough, that's why bought and got them to grind into powder. Agree with you. Doctor also said this cough is very common for kids until they reaches about primary school. Also, this period, lots of bronchitis cases and lots of fever/ running nose/ cough etc.. and will last for 4-7 days one. Lots of germs flying in the air. |

I cant think of how to feed the powder, so, add to manuka honey. Honey heaty meh? Thought Manuka honey is to Sooth sore throat and has some properties help in digestion/ stomach discomfort and anti-immflamation?
I dont usually cook, so, get them to grind to powder. There is a risk that the kids dont drink the brewed soup. So, powder is another way to feed them. |
