Hi, I'm here in Singapore for 4mths and 12weeks pregnant (with no:2) now. I will go back to Sydney to give birth but my Obs recommend I see a doctor here for the monthly checkup and 19w scan. What are my options in Singapore? My dad told me to go to public hospital as it may be cheaper. Is it true? My friend recommends Dr Lawrence Ang and I just called to make an appt. The charges would be $180-200, consist of $80-100 consulatation and $100 scan. Is that normal prices? (I thought it was a bit expensive) |

U can look for Gynae that offer package. The package will include all scans and most tests. If money is a concern, kkh is a good option. |

public hospital--you can try national university hospital (NUH). however, i am not sure if they charge foreigners different rates. |
