Any mummies have children attending Global Art? I am considering to send my child for Global Art classes. Can you share your comments?

Thanks in advance! :-)

Dun find it impressive. All the pieces look about the same. Same kind of boring crayon work. No offence I hope. :-)

Hi loppily,

Kind of agree on your comment, which is why I am trying to see if there are some live experiences mummies who have enrolled can share. :-)

My kids was with the Hougang Branch for awhile, the so called "teachers" came and go.. kept changing and had 1 teacher who din know how to control the kids in class. So have withdrawn from the class. It's good technique but provided they have good dedicated teachers to really teach as it's not cheap at all.

Hi bouncy,
I understand that there is a free trial.

PInk, what is the technique that they teach? Are you referring to the colour blending?

Hi,

My kid went Global Art before. Whilst not bad, I eventually pulled her out after about 20 lessons 'cos I prefer something more broad.

Global Art starts with crayon colouring & drawing. Colour blending is good but the kids need to be discipline to apply. But all lessons focus on colour blending. So quite specialise.

Finally I enroll my kid with nafa arts. Every week's lesson's different.

Both are good. So see what one wants.:-)

Nope. Only crayon. Painting comes at more advance level as I understood...not sure how long more....but my kid's 20 lessons deals only using pencil & crayons.

The Global Art at United Sq was good. Teachers were friendly and got my son really interested. But it was repetitive, teaching about techniques mostly, using oil pastels. The very advanced students did painting. Had to withdraw after 2 years because my son had too much other activities going on.

Hi! I am conducting art classes for children 4 to 9 years old in pasir ris. I will be focusing on the experiences of art, to prepare and let children learn about the basic art elements, to build a strong foundation before they decide to participate in technical drawing and painting. It will be a brand new art experience for your child to engage and experience in!

Weekdays/Weekends are available.
Let me know if you are interested.
