Hi mummies,
I am currently breastfeeding my baby, small milk duct form under the armpit. Gynea said is normal.
Even though I have massage and/ or empty the milk from the breast, the milk duct never get smaller or disappear.
Anyone has similar problem and able to get rid the milk duct?

hi xiaohuei,
i also have the same issue, went to specialist on it and the explaination is it's like a extra breast lunp under the armpit.
after u massage / empty the milk from the breast u also need to do the same for the armpit if not will become clot up.
it won't disappear de unless go for operation to totally remove it. |

Thanks for the information!!
I have tried to massage my arm pit but it does not seem to work.
Hopefully the milk duct do not get bigger, else it would be very ugly. 
I do hope no operation is required too!! |

Hi,
I had this too! The doctor told me it was an extra breast tissue on my underarm. I went through surgery to remove it (it was huge and ugly!). I'm now pregnant with my 2nd child and the breast tissue is growing back!!! |

My friend wants to go for a second opinion... but not too sure who she can go to? Or has anyone heard of either Dr Joyce Lee or Dr Karen Yap or Dr Mona Tan? |

I was under polyclinic referral. I went to KTPH for the surgery. They will inject the LA on the area first, then they will open up and remove the extra breast tissues. After that they will cut out the extra skin on the underarm and then sew it back.
Won't recommend KTPH cause the sewing was not really nicely done and need to go back for the 2nd surgery. |
