this confinement lady is much better than the 1st one we hv when I hv C1 and we sacked her....this lady is good at cooking bt come to cleaning C2's buttock and hyience wise still can be better..... At nite, I still wakie to express milk or direct latch on depending on the timing........I still need to monitor her when cleaning C2 and bathing also.........

C2 dun hv the chubby cheeks liao leh compare to 1st few days...kekeke...bt she has rosy cheeks.... ;) C2 is lighter than C1 leh....kekekek

next time you send C2 to infant centre also like tat.
the caregiver are also the aunty type.
i dun use wet wipes. i wash the bum bum with water. maybe you wanna tell ur CL to wash with water then it might be cleaner. |

nuah, i agree with mbb, close 1 eye if u've CL, i psycho myself that if i need her help, i've to bear with some things, but of cos reasonable stds. I'm glad my CL served our needs well.
BTW, I'm using the nursing cover that mbb's fren is passing on. I like it, very big and can cover well, i recommend to 3 others and they all find it good. Only thing is initially u might find it abit warm as the material is slightly thick, after a few washes, it'll soften lah |

i let u know the nursing cover ltr when I take a look again...login to check some info and to COMPLAIN again
Yes I told CL to use water and cotton wool to clean her bum bum when she 1st came.....bt she prefer to use more wet wipe and tissue paper and damp the cotton wool bt she squeeue till so dry how to clean!!!!!
Just now I went for Dr check up and lucikly we came back to spot chk her....as I need to go C1's sch to bring her to PD as her whole body full of bad red patches of rashes after the CL cooked Fried rice for her last evening....I noticed bad rashes then this morning a bit and her sch called me....very very bad rashes now....2pm then her PD open and thot since tomolo C2 gonna go to the same PD might as well let 2 Cs see the PD ltr in the afternoon.....guess wat the confinement do....turn On the air con and 2 fans and did not wrap nor cover C2....wow piang!!!
Also this CL dun like to chg diaper unless C2 shit and I scolded her.....
then she told me afternoon C2 dun drink much only maybe 60-70ml bt night time can drink more 80-90ml....guess wat she gacve her 90ml BM and cannot finish and wasted my BM!!! I told her why u give so much....already told her to give 60ml b4 I leave the hse and came back saw her pour 9-ml!!!! and at night she give 60ml.....tell me how am I gonna survive for another 3 wks!!!!!!! |

is the ingredients that CL put in the fried rice that caused the bad rashes....so bad that her mouth, face, eyes and body red patches of rashes...hv brought her to PD yesterday and the PD said is the ingredients in the fried rice as immediately after makaning the rice the rashes came out....so PD asked me to check with CL what did she put loh. Those ingredients common leh....bt not sure if it's the light soya sauce and dark soya sauce or auntie did not tell me all the ingredients she put.
Normally she will eat at my parent's plc b4 coming back bt my parent's hse minor reno so dad fetch her from sch and C1 has to makan at our hse and CL has to cook for her.....
Luckily HB asked to come back and spot chk on CL after my doc check up and b4 fetching C1 and C2 to PD....if not.....
HB also said that she might be lazy. I hv been reminding so so many times liao how much BM to give......also I even store in the bottle @ the amt C2 bt the CL poured more from other bottles!!!!
HB refused to let CL bath C1 and I hv to monitor CL when she bath C2 also.....as for water...I bath everyday lah.....weather so hot and humid how not to bath!!!!
My mom kept asking the CL to do hsework etc when C2 zzzz bt hb and me said....no need as when C2, CL shld rest more...bt now better as PD said if C2 can zzz longer at nite...let her zzz no need to wake her up every 3 hrs to drink liao.....only afternoon I still need to wake her up every 3 hrs to drink....

C2 weight 2.78kg when born....ard 2.65kg when we discharged and she is now 2.87kg. Her milk intake ard 60ml to 90ml. think she still hv chubby cheek...btw C2 looks like me...C1 looks excactly like her daddy and grandpa (daddy's side) ..... I need to upload C1 and C2 bb's photos 2gether....they dun look alike..when bb....kekeke |

as for the nursing cover will give a miss as am using something similar for C2 bt not comfortable on her. also material hot....
any idea u know those that just hang the hood over ur neck....like an apron..those type of nursing cover...where can I get?
also, where can I ordered waterproof chging mat that I can bring out? am uing those nappy clothes for the time being for C2 if go out...bt need waterproof...last time I hv bt sold away liao...wahahahaha....itchy bum bum lah.....sigh sigh |

your this CL sounds quite terrible. your mom / MIL can handle your confinement for you bo? better to fire this CL before something else happens sia... else make her do housework nia, ask her not to kachau you and the kids.
for the waterproof changing mat, can get from Kiddy Palace, black nylon one that can be wiped clean and has compartments to keep diapering stuff. or robinsons/Tangs also has an ang moh brand with cute patterns - can't remember the brand liao. they also have matching bottle warmer
C2's weight is also the same as E's when he was born, but he bo chubby one! no chubby cheeks for me to pinch! :p |

hmmm... initially i tot she lazy to pour away the excess, but hearing what you described... more like lazy to feed more times so try to feed more every feed to reduce # of feeds *faint*
or you wanna latch on and pump out the excess?
re: rash, think you have to lookout/decide liao... eat fried rice also kena rashes maybe you need to do sthg... get your mom/mil to help out?

this CL is much much better compare to the 1st one that we hv C1....that my parents said fired her....
as for this CL at least she knows how to bath C2 and wakie when C2 cried middle of the nite bt she is a bit lazy and forgetful...
also she keeps asking C2 to drink more more more whenever I latched her especially from evening onwards...siao right.....C2 will stop whenever she dun want to drink wat.....
I still can't stand the way she clean C2's buttock!!! this morning when wanna clean/bath C2...wow her buttock rashes again and I noticed that she nvr clean properly middle of the nite!!!
in the day time I latched on unless I take a nap in the afternoon b4 C1 comes back....C only drinks from bottle during nite time....CL day time task is to bath C2, cook, wash clothes....other than that she is doing nothing!!!!

wow piang..just after the above posting...this CL pissed me off!!
as wanna nap liao so asked auntie to give bottle if C2 wakie...then b4 I zzzz...C2 wakie bt I hv already expressed out and caught the CL poured so much BM again...she asked me how much to give and I said 60ml...then she go poured 80ml!!!! tell me can die or not!!! shes till dare to tell me..."forced" her to drink all...I said cannot ltr she vomit how and those that u poured out in excess cannot pour back into the container!!!!
my mom bz with the hse reno so cannot help out and as for MIL...no way am I gonna ask her as u know her hyience and she dun even know how to carry a bb etc..how to ask her for help!!!! |

within 2 to 3 days finished 1 box of tissue, kitchen roll....1 wk finished up a BN bottle of hand wash.....within a wk, finished up 3 qtr full of dynamo etc....
this is wat the CL has used....hb keep asking me how she use and I said am curious also!!!! |

the cupcakes ah... so-so lah, not moist moist de. but the toppings very cute lor. her cake is nicer, i also ordered the choc one, which is so much palatable. i'll send you her price list. her cupcakes are $4.50 each irregardless of design, min is 10 pieces; best to give at least 10 days advance notice. she's in tampines nia, so collection is very easy |

CL thot Hb and me beri free...always go supermarkets and buy her things!!!!
the day b4, I went supermarket and asked her wat other things I need to buy to stock up.....then after I came back.....then she tells me no more milo!!! So hb has to go n buy at nite!!!! We saw that there is still milo in the tin and she tells us no more.....
this morning I went supermarket again to buy chicken so that she can boil with DOM etc...then guess wat...she just told me she has no more shower cream liao!!! wow piang...why dun she tell me in the morning!!! We gave her a BN small bottle and now she told me no more...why dun she tells me in the morning!!!
Think she wanna go out which I refused!! She told me last nite....if supermarket has fresh chicken just buy 1 will do as she can go buy everyday!!! I said no.....My mom said buy 3 at one time.....I simply ignore her!!
Best, cook yong tau hu soup must use slow cooker meh? All along, my mom and us has been using the normal pot to boil the beans and ikan bilis etc....she used slow cooker and I told her off.....dun waste electricity...can just use normal pot boil!!! She said need to boil the beans and also she use low heat wat!!! I said normal pot also can boil beans!!!

early in the morning 4am...HB was so pissed that he told the CL off...I also told her off!!!!
C2 drank milk ard 12.40am and she got hungry again after shit ard 1.30am....CL dun wanna let her drink...keep letting her cry....I was so pissed I go made 30ml for C2 to drink and she drank liao zzzz.....then 3.45am...C2 cried again .. hungry...CL still let her cry...carry her and let C2 cried....then best is that when Hb walked into the room....CL asked hb if I wanna Breast feed her!!! I told hb how can she expect to wait for me to BF her...there are milk in the fridge and HB said if she is hungry just go make the milk hot...why let her cry cry cry non stop....then I also told her off....no need to wait for 3 hrs then feed....already 2 hrs liao!!! CL then told hb to give 50ml enough..hb gave 70ml and C2 drank all and zzz!!!
U tell me MAD or not!!!.............in the day time...she dun bother to chg diapers for C2 even only pee!!! also this morning when bath C2...her water so cold...yesterday also...I already told her off liao....she has many reasons and excuses when u tell her off...
Think HB tonite come back sure scold her!!!! |

a newborn caregiver must be trustworthy.
ur CL cant even fulfill e min requirement of feeding a bb probably.

the 1st one when I had C1....the CL dun even know how to bath a bb , feed bb nor wear a diapers etc...also she zzzz more than I zzz...when C1 cried so loud...she still zzzing like a log!!!! till my parents said fired her....we asked her to leave and she refused as she said....she will hv no face at all if she return now.....then my mom chg task with her....she takes care of C1 day and nite while CL cooks....bt her cooking cannot make it..........too oily etc till my brother and sil complained and she messed up the whole kitchen till my mom and maid was so mad at her!!! till 2nd or 3rd wk or so.... my dad gave her $$$ and asked her to leave IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
That's why I dun trust CL at all...unless u really gets a good one....
So dad said this time round...just ren as at least she knows how to bath and feed bb etc and wakie

aiyoh, i really agree with mbb! your last CL must be really tok kong enough
if can manage then fire her? else you gek sim, hubby gek sim, then no point leh. everyone angry is no good for the kiddies esp now she knows you all buay song her already and there's a bb at home somemore, gotta keep an eye on her 24/7 which is more stressful than looking after them yourself. 2 weeks very hard to ren if you have to face her whole day |

hb also asked me how just now....bt if we fire her now who is gonna help me within these 2 wks? My mom not helping me leh as she is bz with my bro's kids and also reno in her hse...
my hb needs to work and schooling some more....
now I just hv to be cautious on her and always remind her not to put this and that when cooking some food for C1.....I also dun let her bath C1 when she comes back from sch....either me or hb if hb has no class. I also refused to let her feed C1.

from wat you describe, ur CL is not doing much at all besides cooking.
for confinement meals, you can order delivery.
btw, wats ur plan after the CL leave?
C2 goes to infant care or wait till you resume work?
coz if C2 is staying at home with you till ur ML ends then firing ur CL now dun make much diff.
you still end up jaga both Cs on ur own with ur hb's help from time to time nia.
post natal depression sinks in ard tis time (for me, it's very accurate). dun overwhelm urself with too much.

ya agreed with mbb if after CL leave you have to look after both of them yourself then you can ask her to leave soonest so that you can have a good rest as stress will affect your breastmilk. From what you say dun think she is of much help to you. |
