can I check which brand of FM did u buy for newborn? any recommendation? Need to buy a small tin to stand by. Last time, I asked the nurse to give enfalac. Some said newborn more suitable for NAN |

nuah, i asked for similac when A was hospitalised for jaundice as Sean was on it. Actually how to know FM good or not good huh? I'll have to supplement 1 feed of FM soon. |

bao, 1 pack roughly got how many sticks, any idea? dun want to stock too many as we're not sweet eaters, my bag of yummy earth candy drops still sitting in my fridge since duno when.
nuah, similac is not soya ba, Sean had similac on off supplement to EBM until 1yro switch to Gain IQ but he couldnt take it so he had Pediasure until 3+. A only had few feeds of FM when newborn so I'm not very good with FM also |

you can request watever brand of FM you like to feed ur bb in the hospital.
each hospital have their prefered version of FM (by default) but if you request, they will provide the brand you asked for.
i requsted Mamil for both Meh & Aly tho in RH, the standard brand is not Mamil. |

Mamil is the least sweet (tats y i feed my gers Mamil) but Aly cant take it 
Similac will be the most similar to BM.
since you are BF, you may wanna consider Similac. |

TCP's fitting just slightly baggier than Gap/ON; fits E also. that's why getting some for him. he usually wears Gap/ON/TCP/Gym/Disney. Mothercare buay sai whereas C can. so she wears Mothercare & Jshoppers lor. they dun have a common brand since cuts dun fit both, LOL |

har har har! yah lor, i also packed like mad but in the end all they needed were the going-home outfits! only if you bother to change bb, else bb can also wear the wrap-around top from hospital home, kekekeke. wrap in a nice hoodie blankie can liao :p
mine din even get a chance to wear mittens & booties in the hosp, all wrapped up machiam mummy, snug & warm enough le
actually most impt are your own toiletries & underwear bah. everything else for bb are provided by hospital so no need to worry. at most ask hubby to bring only when u need lor
and bring a very large bag to cart all your goodies home! |

there are a few cheapo party supply stores at hong lim, 1 at bugis. good for buying bulk balloons, bubbles, paper masks, streamers, stationery for goodie bags etc

oh yah, bring slippers!!! best are rubber flipflops in case u get the bloody discharge on them when the nurse makes you get up 12 hours after the op! hehehehehe. which was happened to me
anyways, the cuttings for TCP shoes are narrow. only the flipflops are wearable... order only if C has narror feet hor. else opt for sandals or flipflops from TCP |

nuah, i also let the hospital put them in their tshirts, pass them mittens and booties only. baby dun need much except for going home clothes and blanket
Toiletries, pjs, underwear and sanitary pad for yourself! actually for c-sec, bleeding heavy anot huh? I didn't get the kotex maternity pad, find that very very uncomfy. I got the sofy 40.5cm for 1st 2 days, then kotex overnight extra long after that. |

i roughly remb last time C wore that rompers that I brought to hospital leh...ya, I remembered C was wrapped like a mummy bt nurses complained that C is too active and strong...wrapped liao and next thing when the nurse turned ard..she kicked them off!!! Not only 1 nurse said that 2 or 3 nurses told us...kekekeke
Why makes u get up afte 12 hrs? The nurse will asked me if comfortable to get down and think within the same day of Ops I came down liao ;) kekeke
Btw what size does C wear for her flipflops from TCP?
now slowly packing packing the stuffs for hospital...sigh sigh... |

hehehe, i also specially bot PJs, also din wear, wasted my $! just wear everything the hosp provided since so loose and 'airy'! har har har!!! almost wanted to wear their gown home too, cos my maternity pants hurt the scar
c-sec ah, bled like mad lor. cos my scar was very long, so i think they gave me allowance & din insist i get off the bed! i got down only almost 24hours post-op. couldn't stand up straight, managed to stoop and then out gushed so much discharge (imagine accumulated for 24hours)... whole floor kena, my gown & slippers kena. the nurse had to wash me, so pai seh... har har har! seems liek so looong ago... |

I also dun like the kotex maternity pad..so uncomfortable..only use 1 or 2 as hospital in the end gave me the loop type...lagi uncomforatable.....I used the normal whisper brand loh ;)
