my boy is very into galpren since he's been in sch
last yr gadoh with another boy bec of a gerl in his class
this yr he is smitten with a "rockstar" gerl in his sch bus
i dunno which one she is but my boy calls her "rockstar gerl"
he says her hair like rockstar
(somehow the image of a gerl with mohawk comes to my mind.. HAHHAHAH)
and when i come back home
my boy will update me if he gets to walk with thr rockstar gerl form teh bus
or if the gerl smiles at him that day
once he told me - "the rockstor gerl like me bec she smile at me"
and the sch yr has just started for a week...
so much for my "nanti u nak kawen mamie carik kan eh" |

it was a pic of 1 of my colleagues in a bikini!

Hahah did I look angry? Maybe a bit annoyed. I just thought makin ramai orang kat situ & my order was so small, so i didn't bother waiting as they probably won't miss me anyway.
I bought at kedai hashim abas in the end. Actually I usually buy from him, but sometimes I buy ayam kampong from that muhaimin shop bila takde orang.

I thought you had a reasonable amt of make up on. haha. I probably plastered some J & J baby powder on my face. Oh she called out to me? I didn't even notice/hear, else I'd probably have turned back. Anyway, I think the guy in the shop had better customer service. She was not half as friendly. Habis eh orang dpt customer macam I. I guess since it's Geylang, I'd really expect friendly smiles when one is being served. maybe I'm just too melampau :D

Company function was great. Great food reviews. But ada benda tak cukup.. like the lontong was byk balance cos the china man and indian worker tak pandai makan..so they attack on the vegeratian bee hoon. So vegetarian bee hoon semua amik... boss2 semua tak dpt makan.. nasib boss2 i suka plak makan lontong.. so balance lah.. Then stuff like rendang mutton, habis cepat. They even take bread to cecah the kuah walaupun isi takder. Overall everybody is satisfied. My manager was supposed to be the official photographer, end up 1 gambar pun dia tak amik..cos sibuk makan ! Siao seh..
Ye lah.. 1st dah pergi jemputan, celebrate HB bday. Then from 3-6 Jan, kerja mcm nak rak, buat shipment.. cos 7th Jan on leave to check in chalet kat pasir ris costa sand. Then just laze around the for 3 hari and semalam, malas nk dtg kerja..so took urgent leave. So here i am today !
Dah tak boleh nak merayap lagi. I was so hopeless on the past weekends.. jalan sikit, duduk, jalan sikit duduk.. all we did was spend time at DTE. Let Maya play at KidsExplorer and we went to Escape so that Maya can take the Ferris Wheel and Choo Choo Train. Tu pun aku pinggang mcm nk patah oi. |

SD, apa nak buat.. i was thinking abt the journey too.. tapi i pun dah lama tak pergi Pasir Ris chalet.. sekali sekala tukar angin. Anyway DTE ada banyak tempat makan halal and also stuff for Maya to do. Sayang, bowling dia tutup sampai June 2011.
Maya is ardy 90cm seh. Naik train/bus kena bayar.. i really miss the time dia shorter, bleh save duit sikit. LOL...
So far, Maya mentioned abt 2 kids lah. 1 is Afiq..this really active notty boy..he is small.. but very terror.. he go around playing rough with everyone. Push gals when they play with the toys that he wants.. about the tall girl..this was how our conversation went.
Me : Maya, how was skool?
Maya : Good
Me : What did you learn today ?
Maya : Letter 'S'...'S' is for SNAKE...
Me : Eh, why you got beetle bug at your nose ? Did you cry ?
(Aku ckp term selsema as beetle bug..so that she will not cry much.... ye lah..kalau dia nangis byk, nanti beetle bug keluar..dia takut sikit. LOL)

Me : Is it the small boy Afiq ?
Maya : No. This one is a taller girl

Zu, aku kalau betul memang nak ajar anak aku buat gitu. Tapi Maya nie aku takut dia find it 'fun', habis aku.. kena label "Mother to gangster"..
Eh, sorry if this is too sensitive.. saper kat sini hantar anak dia to masjid? Cos smlm i fetched Maya from Masjid, i was shocked to see a number of parents yg tak pakai tudung masuk masjid. Even sit at the praying area. I tot tak boleh kan ? Cos last time i belajar kursus rumahtangga kat masjid, ada yg dtg mcm nak pergi Orchard terus kena marah dgn ustaz. And furthermore if u go to Masjid Sultan, even the Ang Mohs are told to wear head scarves and wear long pants. |

Zu, aku tak kisah lah kalau orang masjid tak tegur then i guess it's shld be ok. Tapi ada yg bapak2 muda nie..tangan bertatoo.. but some yg ada tatoo is still considerate tau.. masuk masjid pakai long sleeve and turtle neck. Takperlah.. nie masing2 eh..ye lah..orang pun tak tahu, yg orang makcik tudung mcm aku pun pakai tudung tapi cover angkong hello kitty kat leher.
Nora, actually aku mcm stress plak bila kau ckp K1 ada spelling.. now i panic alrdy for Maya. |

About taking chinese as 2nd language it really depends on the language ability of the child. Some child picks up other language easily while others may not. So for us to decide immediately whether chinese or malay be their mothertongue is a NO-NO la coz I personally feel its best to give a child some kind of exposure,gain some feedbacks frm teachers etc before proceeding. 2nd language is impt to score if aiming for JC. Ive known someone just because her son learns chinese and able to speak well, she proceed with chinese as his 2nd language in primary school. I believe the language itself is difficult as some of my chinese friends still struggling to spell/speak SO her son did so-so in the subject and now he is already in P5 scoring band3-4 for the chinese..like that how PSLE nanti?? |

Hi Sher, yes. I second u. Dulu masa i sekolah..byk my chinese fren ckp, Chinese is difficult. Byk dpt C6 for chinese tau.. tapi ada jugak kawan melayu i yg dapat C6 for malay. |

Athlete, i am still thinking jugak. Cos tadi i duduk dgn my colleague who is my superior and told her that i am thinking abt quiting, tapi masih dipertimbangkan. Cos, my concern is my boss is the world's number 1 stingy person i've known. Dah 3 tahun, gaji tak naik.. then i heard, next week dorang kasi surat for increment but i only get $60. So i will not get another increment for the next few years tau... then kerja makin bertambah.. no system here. Smlm i ada jugak google jobstreet. Then saw a few jobs in Tuas area which is paying alot more and kerja is admin duties jer. My fren sis is earning $1750 as a receptionist only ! And im earning so much less. |

make sure all maternity payments due to u are settled
then kasi letter of resignation
if u plan to resign DO NOT shorten ur maternity leave and come back to office before the 4 mths
since u dun see prospects in this job
then it just serves as a stepping stone for u to gain experiance
once that is achieved - move on |
