You guys should just forgt abt these packages and go straight for those who comes everyday and you only pay her for that particular service.
One woman that is honest and does that is Aunty Sadiah. She is popular with other mums too. And she dont talk abt packages. She is the "take it or leave it" kind and I think that is good. No fraud and no runaway jamu aunties. |

I highly recommend Mdm Masita (90068026) for excellent prenatal/postnatal/normal massages.
She was really helpful during my pregnancy and continues to be afterwards too.
She specializes in prenatal but is not limited to that. My sister and mum also sees her for neck/shoulder tension.
I love that her work can be deep and yet very nurturing at the same time;
she's great at adjusting to your needs and listens well to what you like and don't like!
She has a lot of knowledge of anatomy/physiology and all that, especially during pregnancy |

she has improved my life and overall physical health b/c of his great massage .
He knows exactly what is going on when you have pain in the lower back or legs.
He has worked with me through pregnancy, and post pregnancy. My back, legs,
and overall health has never been better.
I was going to have surgery and b/c of his treatments,
I saved myself 2 months of recovery and 6-12 months of recovery from if I would of had surgery.
I no longer need it and my doctor says its amazing how Mdm Masita has helped me that much.

I had my prenatal by Mdm Rokiah frm traditional & holistic postnatal centre. Very nice lady and share lots of tips and advise. I find she is very experience the way she did the massage and I enjoy my sessions as I prefer someone expert to serve me. |

Highly recommend both sisters Mdm Ida & Mdm Mas..as both came to my hse..this with the fact that my family was a massage for 8 years and am VERY sellective about who have work on us.
we personally like firm massages and both has very strong hands. Though, both is capable of giving very healing and gentle massages as well.
Ida do post natal on me while Mas do pre natal on my sis.even My maid and mum also sees for normal massage after us.
we love that their work can be deep honest and yet very nurturing at the same time,adjusting to your needs and listens well to what you like and don't like!

Hi All,
I would highly recommend Mdm Ida as I've just finished my 10th session of post natal with her today. She's not only friendly, she also did a very gd job on massage and helping me to slim down my tummy. Before the massage, my tummy still looks like 8mths pregnant and Ida also got a shock when she first time see my tummy. But however, she is confident that my tummy can slim down. After the 1st session and on the 2nd day, I can really see the effect that my tummy has already slim down quite alot. From the 1st session till today, total I have lost 6-7kg and my tummy was amazingly almost flat now. Ida also will teach you how to bind yourself with the cloth after finish the last session with her. Her charges of $50 per session is really very reasonable and worth it! |

I had my very professional massage lady Certified frm Mustika Ratu and Pro therapist after my hubby office fren told us abt her. Mdm Nur.. is well trained and experience as during my sessions she could answer to all my quires.she put more focused help massage my feet, legs and back massage, also help re-shape my body. hi mummy perhaps u can try Traditional wellness service , very profssional and efficient.. Of course slightly higher but it is worth of doing as one therapist is experience and certified and the product they use is organic..
I did my postnatal with them which was recommended by my friend too

hi cynthia, i've actually called for pre-natal massage tho it will only be in dec. she said pre-natal can. post-natal can be tricky hence if you have decided on her, better call and book her while still early. i asked her for march and she told me she quite full but should be able to squeeze me in still. |

I had this experience with this massge lady called MAS. She was recommended by my gf for post natal massage. I want to share my experience with u all so that you all will not be conned by her service. She tells stories, borrow money, takes advance payment and keep postponing sessions after taking your advance payments for the massage and even borrows money in the name of helping her sick mother or neighbour or son.
At first she will tell u she charge $55 per session which is cheap, however, when she comes for the 1st session, she will tell u you need slimming cream, add $5, you need the epidural drops another $5 and you need the stretch mark cream anotehr $5 so all add up to $70! very dishonest n not up front about her charges.
She will also tell you she uses massage oil which is made from 101 herbs etc......
She also will be very fren with you while massaging and tell you about her family very poor, but she learnt her massage from her father who is a gynae..she will say she has a mother who is paralysed and need medical attention, need to buy special bed and ask you for advance payment for your massage. SInce it was for massage we thought it was ok, so just advance pay her my sessions. Pls do not ADVANCE PAY cos she will keep postpone her sessions. This is what i learnt. PAY everyday for your massge lady is the best method.
Also she will say she has a son who is in Temasek poly and going to Oxford university to study LAW.....which i find it ridiculous...go poly can go OXFORD to study LAW???..then she will tell stories of how much money she need for her son's edu , fees etc and find ways to ask for more advance payments and even borrow money .
She wills ay its a pity if her son who is so clever is denied of a chance to study cos of no money.....i was duped by it!
Anotehr story she will tell you is she has a neighbour from Malaysia who just divorced husband left her with child no money for food etc and want to help her financially. SHe will ask you for moeny to help her.Saying what Chinese shd help Chinese since she is Malay already helping her.
Lastly she will keep postponing the last few sessions and not come due to fever, sick QUARANTINED!!! duno till when depends!! and this was how i was never given my full service but paid in full by advance payment to her cos of all her sad stories cos i was stupid! and i even borrowed her money on top of that!
Pls all mothers to be who wan to do pre or post natal massge beware of this MAS lady who live in Woodlands St60 Blk 786E, her hp 90845556. She is a plump short malay lady. pls do not engage this person for your massge she is a CHEAT!!! |

Good service deserves lots of praises!
Just had my 1st pre-natal session wit Ms Ida yday. I must say, she's fantastic! I felt my bod so light now & all aches are "shoo-ed" away. Even slept better. I'm due in Nov & I've booked her for 2 wks for my post-natal
It was hard getting her as well. I booked for yday's session 2mths ago. But it's worth the $$$ & I'm feeling good. Those who would like to try for pre-natal massages, I strongly recommend Ms Ida coz I personally felt the services. |

the wonderful way she have been taking care of me during the 10 sessions on my last day
today for the post-natal treatment. Not only she have heavenly hands but she also have
comforting and encouraging tips which help me so much. Actually, I have been surprised
by all the benefits the treatment offered me. First of all, she helped me getting rid of the
tensions due to the birthing and the first days of breastfeeding and managed to relax my
body. Secondly, the whole treatment allowed me to get back into shape so quickly… this
is not only nice for the body but also very good for the morale! Finally, another great
effect of the wrapping was the strength it provided to my lower back, helping supporting
my whole back. These sessions were a marvellous moment of relaxation, comfort and

This is the second time I'm getting Ida to do my post-natal massage, second baby :-) I've known her for 2 years.
Service still the same, excellent, never late, not calculative etc. Last time she bathed and massaged my No1, now she focus on me 'cos my confinement lady is ok this time round.
Very friendly, can share her experience whatever she knows. Makes you feel very comfortable, I highly recommend her because she's very professional.
She's the longest service, she's the one who taught Mdm Masita and Mdm Mariam how to do massage.
You need any help, can call Ida at 9424-9829. No obligations, just call and ask for prices, the services she has.
Breast engorgement she also can help loosen the blocked ducts. She helped me clear my ducts. Before she massaged, I pumped about 50ml. Then after her massage I went to try, I could get 100-120ml :-) Weeeee.... so happy haha.
I booked her for 3 weeks, this is my fourth day and my tummy also looks significantly flatter and firmer. |

have engaged her for my 1st post natal massage in Jan this year...i m having mine second bb next Jan 2010 and upon hearing from my friend (she took Ida's massage after my recommendation) who just completed her post natal massage this month that Ida appointments are filling up for next year ... i did not think twice and quickly called her to make bookings for 3weeks post natal massage ...
As Lisa mention...she is not calculative, responible n more than willing to guide n share her knowledge on BB. Ida asked whether am i engaging a confirment lady this time round? when i told her no..she quickly assured me not to worry and will help out with bathing and massaging my new born
will update my experience again next Jan 2010, i m sure it is going to be the same as my first experience

Ladies,
no offence to anyone but please be caution on who you trust on the net!
There are sincere moms who wants to share good things with others ... there can also people who pretend to be 'customers' and promote their own services.
I'm a mother of 2 and I think slimming doesn't happens overnight - it varies among individuals. I took me more than a year to be back to (almost) normal even I had massages. To slim down, try to breastfeed and exercise (chasing kids is also good form of exercise ) and watch your diet.

I have booked my post natal massage with this Mdm Ida +65 9151 4757. She said she is charging 7sessions of 1 1/2 to 2hrs for $550 plus a BB massage. Wonder if she is the same Mdm Ida as mentioned before? What things should I be expecting the massage lady to do for me? She said she'll do the wrap with oil and change the cloth daily. |

err..think ur Ida is different person nia..yours came out to about 70+ per session, the Ida i m using charges by per session @ $50 incl bb bath (if u have noone to help) & bb massage. also no changing of cloth daily..just that need to purchase a long piece of cloth for wrapping @ $20 and can be kept n recycled |

I just called Ida at 9424-9829, my edd is also end of Jan next year. She said her schedule is quite full in Jan. She asked me to msg her my details and noted down. For prenatal massage, by certain weeks (if i recall correctly, 28 weeks) it is not advisable to do it.
I was informed by my massage lady back then
And ladies, if you intend to include massage for your baby, according to some Dr books, best to start 2 weeks later. I read this from Dr Carol Cooper book. Just for your info =)

Hi Anne, thanks for your suggestion. I was also considering traditional & holistic postnatal center whose boss is Mad Rokiah. But understand that now Mad Rokiah is no longer doing massage by herself, and the price is quite high. Dunno whether worth it or not. |

I think you could try Mdm Rokiah prenatal service 1st before the postnatal. I did that so that I could get more info abt her company service but as I can say I not regret at all having the therapist that serve me as I find the advise she share and bb tips was very gd and most important I want someone experience to serve me as there are many new therapist nowadays as my office fren told me with few days as short as 3days postnatal courses now. Or maybe you could make more search about other therapist before you decide. |

The therapist that serve me is Mdm Emmy. Very motherly and soft spoken.I felt very comfortable with her sessions. Mayb you can try her service. When I had my prenatal, Mdm Rokiah told me that all her therapist are aunties in their mid 40's and experience, certified and there are also trained again personally by her. Hi ladies
Yday I had my 1st post-natal session with Mdm Ida & I enjoyed it so much. She even taught me how to massage & bath the baby. After a day of binding, my tummy which was like a 5-mth pregger after delivery, has now toned down so much that I was so happy with the results & is looking fwd to my 2-wks session with her.
Today she helped me washed my V area with salt & warm water. I was so surprised that she would help me to do it.
Oh btw, I heard from a fren of mine that Mdm Ida & her SIL, Mdm Masita, is no longer doing the same method. Apparently, Mdm Masita is not following the methods taught by Mdm Ida. I prefer the traditional & safer methods by Mdm Ida. At least she doesnt push up the womb everyday (done by Mdm Masita)...which could be dangerous for mummies.

My postnatal was done few mths back by malay heritage jamu massage.Price is reasonable I find and their service is very comfortable. The therapist is punctual and helpful. I did not have confinement nanny and she is very patience when my bb cry, she ask me if my bb want to be fed. She don't mind I fed my bb also. The bb massage also makes lots changes to my bb sleeping pattern. |

hi ladies, just completed my second last (6th) post natal massage session with mdm ida. my elephant legs and tummy are gone all thanks to her. my mum and hubby are very happy with the results. after just two sessions my tummy went from, as my sister said, 8 months "pregnant" to 4 months "pregnant".
her services include baby and mummy massage as well as bathing of baby. she will push up the womb on the second last and last session. she also advise and assist on breast engorgement, latching of baby and what to take to help increase breast milk supply.
mdm ida and mdm mariam works together. mdm mariam covers the east area while mdm ida covers the west area. i understand that she no longer works with mdm mashita as their methods are now different, mdm mashita don’t follow her method. |

i just want to add that reading the older posts Mdm Ida seems to be quite highly regarded but when i did ring her today, she seemed very bo-chap and didnt really care less whether she took my postnatal or not. kept trying to give me someone else's number to ring despite i told her i am recommended by a fren. somehow i get strong feeling she is unreliable leh. anyway, just to share my personal experience with all so we have a fair idea of how she is with all mommies |

I try Mdm Ida for my first one, and mdm mashita for my second one..
Some reviews abt the 2 sisters..
Mdm Ida, She make a trip down to my place to solve my engorement for free..
2nd trip, i was suffering from pain from my stitches, she came down to my place for free and advice me what to do..
Then when i recover, she massage me with good strength & gave me good advice, massage and bathe my first baby.
Never hurry to go off..
As for her sister , mdm mashita, her massage is not very good..
Didnt bother to help me with my blocked duct when im in pain.. (Probably she doesnt want to make a waste trip), didnt bother to cover me with towel when massage , didnt massage and bathe my 2nd baby too..
Her strength not as good as Ida..
She push up my womb every massage which is totally different from ida's..
After the whole massage, i call mashita's mentor which is Ida, to carified the whole thing.. Asking y mashita's is so different from hers..
Heard from Ida that they have splited up..
Now, totally 2 different business bcos mashita don one to follow her method..
Haiz.. my 2nd baby, my massage is not a very good experience..
Therefor, i recommend mdm IDA ..

Have to call n book her in advance..Cos i think her schedule is quite tight..

in the pAst when she do my massage, her phone ring, she oso don pick up.. i even ask her that "yr phone keep on vibrating, u want to pick up incase of any emergency call ?".. She just tell me no need to pick up..
Cos she respect her customer valuable timing during massage, so she don pick up calls during massage..
Which i actually feel that its good..
Some massage ladies will just massage u halfway, ans call n leave u naked there...
So when i call mdm ida up for a few times, she dont pick up, i oso don feel offended.. She will call back when she is free..
until now, whenever i got baby issues to ask, i call her, she oso very willing to help ..
2 thumbs up for her ^_^
As for her schedule, she will recommend u to her frd/sister if she cant manage to slot u in..
Better than those massge lady who say they r able to slor u in, and when the time comes, they just disappear n don ans your call and u have to last min find one massage lady yourself..

FYI, Mdm Nur and Mdm Mariam backups for Mdm ida..
After my terrible experience for my post natal with mdm mashita, i tried to book back mdm ida for my normal massage now..
But since she is fully booked, she recommend me her frd, mdm nur..
Methods are different.. but mdm nur is still as good as mdm ida.. Strength the same..
Haven try mdm mariam before, but i belive she is good too.. cos her massage is taught by mdm ida. |

She puts her phone by the side when she massage and i was happy that she didnt answer them during the massage. This is good because i pay her to massage me and it will be very disruptive if she keep answering the phone. Mummies who need to book her, pls book early as she is usually fully booked. |

Hi all,
I'm new here. I've engaged Mdm Ida's service after seeing so many positive feedback about her in the 2009 forum. She is GOOD! Yesterday was only my 2nd session with her and I've noticed my tummy getting smaller! She's also very puncture & responsible. If she tells you she will reach between what time to what time, she will really reach your place by then. If she's going to be late, she will inform you in advance too. The best thing about her... She thinks in the best interest of her customers. As I had delivered via c-section, she advises me to start my session with her 1 month after my delivery. When 1 mth is up, she dropped by to check on my wound to confirm that I can start my sessions. However, my wound was still swollen, so she told me to be patient and to wait for the wound to heal fully (then she went back without any extra transportation charges). 1 week later (which is this week), she drops by to check on my wound again and she sees that I'm ready so she started immediately. 2 thumbs up for Mdm Ida. For those who are interested in engaging her services but she's fully booked, can look for her cousins (Suria and Zaliah) too as they are learning from her. |

I will never go for a traditional Malay massage lady again...i had one in 2007 in which th woman squeezed mny nipples...two days later, I developed a painful breast abscess...it was a 7-mth journey of torture thereafter...cost me more than $5K and two ops to fix it...no thank you to anymore massages for me! |

hi,newbie here..
me just recently used Mdm Masita.
Although I make last minute bookings, she are very kind to slot me in with her therapist busy schedule.
I agree with some mothers ever used her service,before recently fake negative comments about her belive (sabotage),
she teach me lot of traditional tips and advice,
especially as a first time mother I nearly give up breast feeding
but with the Mdm Mas support and advice everyday makes me really satisfied with her service.
Now really enjoy breastfeeding sessions with my baby. She is very punctual and if she is late,
will sms me to inform. After a few sessions my tummy is much smaller and as before the sessions
my mum is very worried to see my tummy still look like 6 mths pregnant.try her..very

im a new mom here .
i always visited this motherhood but did not join yet . so here i am . i join becoz i wanted to share my experience with all of u . im a november mother . on the first day massage , its done by Mdm Mas . When i see her , she was like no mood but still go ahead with the massage . The massage was not enough pressure and some part does not hit the point . Mdm Ida told me before that push up the womb will be at the last and 2nd last day becoz need to clear the blood clot . She never bother to ask me about baby massage and she never massage my baby also . So i contact Mdm Ida to find a replacement on the 2nd day . And i notice that Mdm Ida is very professional as i she recovered my back after moment of suffering . My stitches was in pain that time and Mdm Ida helped me . She used special method to make my stitches heeling faster and after 2 days i can seat better . Mdm Ida also gave me tips to my breast . After she massage my breast , she used special things to wash up my breast so that the oil will not stick to the breast . Honestly , Mdm Ida is really professional . U all should try her normal massage as she can give u feel very relaxing and loosen . No regret to take her . hi i highly recommend mdm Ida, i did my pre & post-natal massage with her. fter birh, I had very swollen feet n big tummy, after the massage my feet weren;t swollen n my tummy was much smaller. As my confinement lady didnt do a good job in bahing my baby, mdm Ida doesnt mind to come to my house n teach me n my maid how to bath n clean my baby. She is patient n she shared her experience with u. |

Was wondering if there are any recommendations for prenatal massage. Just at the end of first trimester.
And the main issue is sore shoulders and neck.
