Hi mich,
Seem like never heard their company name b4. Mind was done by malayheritage massage and very satisfied with their service.Few of my office fren have tried their service and give gd feedback.Find their price quite reasonable.They even got hotstone service in their package that they use to compress on tummy & breast and its really work that after sessions my milk flow have a better letdown. my massesue is from origns jamu. very professional and for their services, i dun mind to pay even more. i booked during their promo . you can see their site whether got any promo if your budget is tight.

Hi Mich, i'm delivering mid-May also and I'd signed up a package with Babies Bellies (7days). dunno how they are in terms of massage but went to their shop before, not bad. am thinking of trying their pre-natal massage before i give birth. i think i trust those with a shop front better than freelancers. |

So far I have only tried 2 places, this is the sites. For Ivy (compassvalemassage), she's chinese and she use to work for philip wain, so far I find her massage quite good. Price also reasonable.
As for Javanese massage, I always visit the thomson branch, but just to let you know its quite unlikely for you to get the same person everytime.

I visited Babies Bellies today. I tired the pre natal massage. Not bad for a start.
Must comment the lady boss, she really very friendly. I signed up a 10 day package with them for post natal. So looking forward to it! |

My EDD is on 21st May.
I'm not sure how their post natal is like, but Tiny M's fren tried and said not bad.
And yesterday I was there to do my pre-natal.
I had a chat with the lady boss, from what I see, though her company is new in the market but her therapists are not, her therapists are all very experienced with pre and post natal.
Though the pre-natal on the ex side. But post natal, I really think its reasonable lor. Bcoz you see if its free-lance massage lady, also about the same price. Further theirs is company, so in a way must have service mah, if nt ruin the company's name how?

Hi Audrey,
For the 10 day package is $500. The lady boss explain to me depending on location, the transport varies but definitely within $5 to $10 per trip. So that means u might expect it to be $600 in total.
Base on my scenario: my this 10 day package comes with free 1 body scrub and 1 steam bath. So she say better to at her spa.
I will be paying $500 plus ($7(transport) x 8days). That means total I will pay $556 include transport.
I will be giving 1 session to my hubby to do together at her spa, as her package is flexible.
That means my 1 massage + body scrub + steam bath and giving 1 massage to my hubby all do at her spa.
Urm, hope my explanation clear. I see until I oso abit blur.

Wow, that's reasonable. I have browse through the service and price from various sites this afternoon, some even hit $1200 for 10 sessions.
There are so many massage services out there to compare and make me confuse too! Hopefully I am able to digest all the information before my baby pop out. |

Me also confuse to choose which massage lady to serve me for my postnatal massage till my CL lady recommend me Mdm Suriyah frm Malay Heritage Jamu Massage. She say that few of her clients was serve by her. And I agree with my CL as I feel more energetic and relax after my sessions. As my CL says that frm her experience that when some of her clients have their postnatal massage, the therapist either look not experience the way they do the massage or as young as 30yrs old. I feel very comfortable with Mdm Suriyah and when she heard my bb crying, she can know that its due to colics. She help me to massage my bb and my bb sleeps very well after the massage. I think we should get experience therapist to serve us during our confinement. Thank to my Cl lady. |

I saw the therapists this company has. And they assure me they will not get those young ones to serve. I dun think I have any worries. Because the lady boss also mother of 4. So should be fine.
Dina, how come I always see you posting about Maly Heritage Jamu Massage only. I went thru all the threads regarding post natal in this forum to get better info b4 I take up any post natal. And looks like you everytime post the same thing in most of the threads. You sound like a fake customer of your own company just like Sue...
Anyway, I have also done my own survey regarding post natal. This are all the sites I have visited. So far some prices I think quite ex bcoz since they are free lance, why still so ex? But of coz some are reasonable.

Oh, I was at Amore the other day (was shopping and curious so went in), the rate for prenatal massage is $98/hr!!!! and if package for 15x then can become $60+.. Geez!!!! So exp.. I had to fight to get ot of the consultant's claws!!!
BTW, i know it may be unrelated, but is there any good recommendation for pre-natal yoga?? Thanks! |

No prob! How lon is your pregnancy now? Normally ppl will recommend to go when you are 4 to 5 mths pregnant and above.
Yup, I went to Amore b4. Their sales consultant will try their best to squeeze u dry but lucky both of us never fall into their trap. Its really ex, bcoz we pay for their advertising, rental etc...
For pre natal yoga, I am not to sure den... Bcoz I never try it b4...B4 pregnancy, I use to do yoga once a while den I stopped... |

Hi all, if u are still looking, I would recommend my massage lady Milah. She lives in the East but travels to Woodlands and even Jurong West.
My son is already 5 months but I am still engaging Milah to massage me once every month ($40 only).
She goes on for 1-1.5 hour and sometimes goes beyond 2 hours if my body has more 'knots'. No extra overtime charge.
Her fees for post-natal is $50 with tummy binding which I felt was good considering my tummy went down within 3 days.
After the 1st session, she will see condition and advise if need to massage 3 or 5 days more. No need for package and no hard selling from her. Just pay her after each session. Always punctual and never stingy with her massages and advice.
She doesn't chat on the hp during massage sessions. And also she doesn't burp loudly like some massage ladies do!
Most importantly, she limits herself to 2 house calls per day to give full attention & strength to her clients. In that way, she is never in a rush to leave and able to give extra massage time if it is required.

i have tried the babies bellies - pre natal massage
very superficial one... no effect of relief tireness at all.disappointed...i actually end up more aching...maybe the posture we lie down while doing massage is uncomfortable.
I pay for 69.90 for scrub & pre natal massage its state 90mins, but acual massage only last 1hr..
for the service & standard i get the price of 69.90 is overprice.
they seems to have only one massue only... very young & no experience kind.
i wonder their post natal is good though?
hope they pickup their skill... as the lady boss Ally is nice and give & share advise.

You can let the person know to use more strength. Its the young malay girl you use right? If its her, its the same as me. I told her to use more strength and I found it good for me. My massage is 1 hour but I had it for more then an hour!
I dunno how come you face such unpleasant experience. |

pre natal to destress tireness areas for preggie mummies mah. and they are suppose to be expert .
anyway , they only have one & only malay massage girl anyway. no one else to choose. the rest are for post natal who go to home one...

prenatal massage should be done atleast after 6mth onward and it should be done by someone experience. A fren of mine went to a spa and she got shock to see a young girl abt 25yrs old to serve her for her prenatal and cancel her session at last. I dont mind to pay more to get someone experience rather than got problem after that. I had my prenatal done by Mdm Rokiah before and feel very comfortable with her. Lot of advise and she is very experience with her service. Even advise me to compress my leg always as I got bad cramps every nite and its really helps. |

Huh? Why u so work up? I didn't say you have to teach the person what to do... I just said if you needed more strength, jus tell her.
Every place that I go for massage, its common for a customer to tell the massage person to add more strength if he or she finds that the strenth is not enough what. Even the massage lady also will ask what.
Again, if you are not happy then why never complain to their boss instead of fuming over here?

she is very good and very dedicated massage lady...
every session has full body massage, breasts massage and also charcoal thingy which will help to heal and most imptly, TIGHTENING ur v area....
she will do e wrapping for ur tummy at e end of every session.
in any case if mummies has blocked milk ducts, she'll help clear blocked ducts as well..
her charges is $50 per session and she dun charge tpt no matter which part of sg u stay..
she also include body scrub as well...

Hey MiCh, thanks for posting all those links, are you due yet ? I'm due end of this month, and thinking to get some 7 or 10 days package..
I've got a friend who delivered last month, she recommended a freelance massage lady, in which she said already fully booked for this month, quite a popular one I guess..
So with the time constraint, think I'll got to look for these places for the post-natal, I didn't go to any pre-natal, but I believed, to to either (pre and post natal) ones, should be someone experienced enuff.. so far, have you had any other feedback on the babies-bellies post-natal massage? I saw their booth in almost all baby talks/seminars and mother's expo in the past few months.. |

BTW for others info oso, I finished 8 sessions. Tummy only needs abit of toning as due to loose muscle. My weight now its about 58kg still. However after trying my maternity pants, I know my thighs n hip did bcum smaller as well.
I'm waiting for my confinement to finish and going to do my other session with hubby at their SPA.
If you ask me to rate their service, out of 10, I will give 9.5.
Knowledge = I find its good enough for me, the massage lady shared her experience with me on slimming, breastfeeding and confinement as well.
Massage = Strokes are good, they will check if pressure is ok for you too. Everyday will focus different area to massage too which personally I think its really good.
Punctuality = Excellent! My massage lady everyday arrive 10 mins earlier.
I feel that their service has a personal touch , very sincere and make you feel at ease. |

I dont think there is thai postnatal massage. As usually I use to get thai massage every mth and I find their massage is using hard strokes and I think not suitable for postnatal. |

can PM me the ML at Babies Bellies that you have tried? I am currently doing their pre natal. so far 3 times and 3 times I had requested for diff ladies to try. Hopefully can find one I like and will sign post natal package with them.
But if you can recommend yours that was good, I may just go with it too, if they allow me to choose my post natal ML, that is. :P But Ally said I can tell her my preference of ML, she'll try to accommodate if possible.
I find Ally's good with customer service and I can see her staff rec tranining on it too. Friendly and punctual all the time! |

My due date is at Aug but have tried her Prenatal massage and I really like her pressure..
She is very friendly and straightforward and very experience lady. Professional.
And her price is reasonable also.
For prenatal massage, she will only do for you when you are 6-8 mths.. after 8 mths she will not do cos dangerous to do as almost want to give birth liao le.

i had my post natal massage done by babies bellies in may this year.
my massage lady is Hamidah. I find her not bad, hv strength. but i can't give much details as i fall asleep during most of the massage. dunno whether bcos i'm too tired or she's good. she has her own portable massage bed.
the lady who arranged for me the massage appointments, is she the lady boss? she's quite nice. I had to change my appointment time 3 times, and quite last min but she's v accomodating n understanding. helped me to make the arrangements.
overall, not bad I feel can give it a try.
btw, i think their massage ladies also freelance one. tt's wat i gather fr my massage lady. |

I just finished my 7 days post-natal massage with babies bellies. I will rate their service 4/10. The therapist is habitually late, at least 10 mins late every day. Best part is she does not apologise and assume that it is all right to be late. I called her a few times when she is more than 15 mins late, she just casually tell me that she is on the bus. I am ok with her being late since I am at home but to be late for 7 days is abit overboard. Her massage skill is so so, not much strength. Told her about it also no improvement. Other than that, she is a friendly lady who chats a lot. She told me that they are all freelance. So I guess you can engage them directly, going thru babies bellies is like going thru an agency that requires you to pay extra. |

I stay in the west. The therapist told me she stay in the north, woodlands area, and she is doing another lady at bt panjang. I guess it depends on which therapist is available to take the assignment and if she is willing to travel. WIll PM you the name. |

I'm new to this forum and also have not yet decide to have my postnatal massage by which company. Still looked around to ask for more recomendation. Heard frm my fren that use BB service, charges is not inclusive the transportation and the therapist that serve her, seem like a new therapist that just took courses not long compare to when she had her 1st bb, the therapist was very experience but has retired. And on her last sessions they took back the binder, so my fren was left without the binder unless you want to purchase the binder. She told me no point of buying their binder as its the long type of cloth that you're not able to tie yourself. |

hi mummies, i tried BB for prenatal once. Went to their shop. Had a very hard time finding parking when i got there, so if u plan to try them 1st thru their shop, take cab there.
I was massaged by a middle aged malay lady. Overall, friendly n pressure was average. She asked me if pressure was suitable and bcos i was wanting to try them out n relax after driving 3 rounds to find parking, i decided to leave pressure as moderate so it is critical to tell massuese hpw hard or soft u wanna be kneaded. They will not be able to read minds n know each customer's pain tolerance level. see, if masseuse press too hard, customer may also complain after becos they end up suffering with pain the next day.
for example, i tried an indonesian lady freelancer the other day. She was this big sized lady in her early 50s. Used some funny fragrant oil which seemed like perfume oil not massage oil. Kneaded me sooooo hard, i ended up sore all over for 2 days after. I dont blame her cos i didnt tell her to stop. I tot wanna see if hard massage can rid my knots. Nevertheless, i can tell she was a very experience lady cos she just see my tummy can tell baby doing well or not. Haha... She spoke indo malay which i can understand a little. said baby's head is alr down liao. Then from size of tummy can tell me I was 6mths + pregnant and can tell gender. Bizarre! I prolly wont get her again cos a little worried abt freelancers not being able to keep schedules n all that lah.
I rang Ida but she's full to next january (sigh). So my last best bet is BB. Overall, i trust they will do a reasonable job. At least for starters the oil they use is what i like. The real lemongrass spicy oil for ridding wind. Not too oily yet after massage can feel all that tingle and spice knowing its working the wind inside...

My wife tried prenatal massage by traditional holistic postnatal centre after reading few mummies comments frm this forum. The lady boss who serve my wife personally and she told me that she really enjoy her session and she decide to have her postnatal done by them too as the lady told her that all her therapist is experience and specially trained by her. I think is important to have someone experience to do the massage as this is our 1st bb. |

hi ladies..
i have given birth at Mid aug and finally tried MDM IDA post natal. i have book her few mths back and have done pre natal with her also.
she's good and very very friendly. anything u can ask her even about bb stuff wor.. she kws a lot.
min is 5days, last 2 days she will push back your womb. cannot 3 days as its not enough. the last 2 days she will teach u how to wrap also.
but i lazy didn wrap after she finish for me d 7days. haha..
depending on your condition, she will also see if you required to do charcoal (to ease natural birth pain stitches) and bitter leaf (cold cold one as this one has to put to fridge)
i only do the charcoal but didn do the bitter leaf as my mother don allow me to do leh. she said cold cold later next time below aching. haha.. but the bitter leaf is to apply to the stitch to sooth them. so u can decide if u wan to do that.
but after doing charcoal i felt a lot better.
if u wan have to book MDM IDA in many mths advance wor.. her contact is 94249829.
jst sms her yr edd and your name so she can get back to u. if she cant make it, she will ask her sister or sister in law to help u do.

She recommend me to another friend of hers called Nur, i spoke to Nur and she said she cant cnfm yet becos she has her own customers to serve as well. Maybe i just unlucky... So i have no choice now but to go with babies bellies...
For mums planning to try ida, she's getting popular so best to book mths in advance. |

I used Ida as my ML too! At 1st she also being fully booked and intro me to her sis. I gave her a call after delivered my gal on Labour day, then she have a slot for me but the timing for each day not fix (eg: yesterday appt at 8:30am, today at 2pm, tomorrow at 11:45am ...)
Overall, she is good and very experience. She is a little talkative but I like that cos will not feel so bored |

Hello,
I'm in my week 30, 1st pregnancy. I've tried their pre-natal service twice. First time in my wk 20, I was attending by a therapist in her late 40s. She was experienced n gave me advice on various things. She will ask me what kind of massage oil I wanted to use. The strength used was okay for me. I found the massage very detailed. At the end of the massage, the recep or probably the boss was not pushy abt her svc, in which I was very grateful. I dislike hard selling. I did not sign up anything.
I went there the 2nd time in my week 26 as I was having pain on my legs. I gave them a last minute call. And yes I was in. A diff therapist, in her early 30s, attended me. It's too relaxing til I fell asleep. Strength was adequate too. She didn't give me advice though. I did not tell them that my legs were painful at all so the therapist did not attempt to massage them more than usual but my legs felt much better after the massage.
I didn't try any other prenatal massage from other big companies e.g. Bel****** or Rus*** Ni*****, so I cannot comment on if u pay big bucks, u will get superb svc. I will go for cheap and reasonable svc.
Overall I find their svc good and the price is okay. At the end of 2nd session, I signed up their post-natal massage package of 7 days. I also found out that I can request to do pre-natal massage at home, although I need to pay a bit extra but Wow! That's great, especially if I am heavily pregnant.
The only bad thing about the massage was that they used too much massage oil and did not provide any hot towel to let us wrap it off. My whole body was so oily til my clothes were full of oil. My feet were oily and I had to walk extremely carefully or else I might fall. So DO NOT attempt to go shopping after that. Probably I will feedback to them on my 3rd visit to them. |

My experience with babiesbellies has been very disappointing in two massages.
1. How can someone forget to bring along Jamu for a massage, when Jamu is part of the package, and second I have already paid for the entire package.
2. My baby is on total breastfeeding and times when she sleeps and wakes up for milk.
The massage lady is never on time, and either late and then rushes the massage or comes too early.
The wrap was so lose, that it came out in 30 mins, and I had to get my maid to put it back all over again.
The massage are ok...
I am not sure if i want to continue this way. |

Finally got a new therapist from Babiesbellies.
She is amazing.
her hands work like magic.
Looks like BabiesBellies really take complains seriously and act on it, to make the customers happy.
I am glad to see their customer service goes an extra mile.
Didnt really expect so..
Anyways I am happy with the massages, and the timigs, and care & concern, the therapist shows..
