Hi
I am interested to buy the alphabet pooh too.
Can I check if you have the certficate that says your mats are non-toxic?
I saw there is some other Korean brand mat that comes with individual warranty and certification. I am concerned about buying a mat that may not be safe for my baby. I read in a CASE article that some stores or manufacturers claim their products are safe for children but in the end they were proven to be toxic and unsafe for kids. I am quite kiasu so I want to double check for sure before I buy your mat. |

It is always good to be kiasu and clarify on things that you are concerned about before buying things for use by our precious little ones. Good to always be safe than sorry later. For the LG baby playmat that we carry, it is non-toxic and have passed the strict chemical stability tests of the world's most prestigious certification organisation (SGS). This product is safe for use even by children with sensitive skin. Please refer to the SGS test report below for details.

Thanks for your reply. Don't mean to be difficult (just being super kiasu) but I don't see that this report is for 'LG Prime' mat, I've seen other SGS reports before (my sis used to work in a SGS lab) and the report will state the mat name.

We are definitely not an expert when it comes to such reports or testing. What LG suppliers had told us is that all the LG playmats are tested by SGS to be free from toxic and have passed the strict chemical stability tests. If you were to refer to any of the internet sites in Korea that are selling the LG playmats, the SGS certification is always mentioned and stated clearly. If you do not trust any of these sites, you can even visit LG's own shopping site that also mentions specifically about this SGS testing approval.
LG baby playmats had been sold in Singapore for many many years and is also the most premium and highest quality playmat that any mummies would love to get for their babies. In the past few years, many different brands of playmats had been introduced in Singapore but none can match the overall standard of LG playmats.
Please buy from us only if you are comfortable with it.

We do not have intention to bring in the inferior Parklon Well-Being series playmats.
The quality of the Parklon Well-Being series playmat is pretty different from the Parklon Green playmat. The Parklon Well-Being series is the more inferior playmats where your baby can use only one side of the print. The reverse side is either the carpet or just foam material. The Parklon Green series is the playmat where both sides can be used and the quality is much better than the Parklon Well-Being series. For the Parklon Well-Being series, it is available at Kiddy Palace and Mini Toons.
We used to be carrying the Parklon Green playmats but had discontinued as lots of mummies feedbacked that the LG brand baby playmats are the most premium and best quality playmats available in the market.
Parklon Green mats are softer & some mummies have feedback that it is a bit too soft and might not be able to provide the required cushioning when babies fall and knock on the playmat. It is also more prone to creaselines which will take more time to settle down/fade off. Whereas LG mats are more premium in quality, firmer and also better for baby's back as they are still developing. LG also has the Asobang series which is 18mm thick, providing extra cushioning for your baby.
The embossing pattern on the LG playmat is very unique which provide a quality finish and increased durability. Parklon has recently changed its embossing patterns to catch up with the LG playmat quality but it is still inferior as compared to LG playmat, which explains why the price difference.

The thickness of the playmat really depends on individual mummies. Some mummies feel that 11mmm is thick enough while some mummies feel that even the 18mm thickness playmat is not thick enough. Guess it is quite subjective. According to testing done by LG, as long as the LG baby playmat is at least 10mm in thickness, it is baby safe.

Payment received with thanks. Yes, only one mickey design for the dimension 1900*1300*15mm. There is another mickey design but it is for the dimension 2300*1400*15mm which is currently out of stocks. We will keep you posted on the delivery when shipment arrives. Thanks.
