Hi,
I'm looking for a transfer maid with prior experience taking care of young children in Singapore. If you know of or letting go a good transfer maid with the following criteria, kindly PM me with details and the relevant contact number. Thank you so much.
- Filipino, Indonesian or Myanmese maid.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Keen and able to take care of young children independently.
- Able to cook, and perform general housekeeping.

Hi, I have a maid that l'm giving up..
She's good with kids, my son is so attached wif her but terrible with cooking..Housework is juz average. If you are not the fussy type and u dun require her to cook then she is ok. I don't have time to train her hence l'm changing to get an experienced maid instead. Let me know if u are keen. |

Hi Pamela,
I have a good indon helper to let go. She has 3yrs experience; below is an overview of wat she does,
Her jobscope:
1)Taking care of newborn (now 4 month old) and 2.5 yr old tot
*Can bath newborn
*cook children food
*Cheerful & energetic
2) Cooking
*Cook all our 3 meals (basically we mostly eat-in 3 meal a day except weekends)
*Cook chinese food like handmade noodles, dumplings, indonesia spicy cuisine, western food like chicken chop etc...)
3) Household chores
*Fast n efficient worker
btw she help me do my confinement when I give birth to my 2nd child so I need not engage confinement lady n i save lots of money. Her forte is in cooking and she take very good care of my kid.

I am also interested. My helper is going away in Dec and I can have a new helper in to "handover" in Nov. I have 2 kids, 4 yrs and a 4mth baby. So my main concern abt the new maid is that she must love kids. However, an adult will always be around to help out with the kids so the maid wont be alone.
Can I know more abt your maid and your reason for letting her go? Is she independent and trustworthy?
What is the salary she is looking at and will she be wanting off days and handphones?

Hi
I have Myanmar maid to let go. No longer require her service as I am sending my kid to school.
Her current duties:
- Taking care of 2 toddlers
- Cooking (her cooking is ok)
- Household chores
Her English is not too bad. She is capable. Similar to all other maids, she needs to be reminded of her role. Otherwise, they can get overboard.

I am letting go my maid. She is capable in looking after infant. Changing diapers, steralise milk bottle, feeding and take care of bb at nite. She is with me for 7mths. I am letting her go becos she cant cope with my son. She is always neglecting him but i must admit she is good with infant. For housechores and cleanliness, i can grade her as fair. Problem is very difficult to change her style of doing things as she is experience and got her own way of doing. Overall i am fine with her. If you only have one newborn, i think she is suitable for you. I am searching for my maid now and she will only be available when i got my new maid. My agency is Crislo so all document will be done there. |

Hi Mommies,
I have an experienced Filipino maid available for urgent transfer.
Salustiana (Lucy) has 10 years of experience in Singapore and Hong Kong. I hired her about almost 4 months ago.
She is great at laundry and housekeeping. She reads clothing labels before she does the laundry and is very good at handwashing. In fact, when my washing machine broke down, she hand washed every thing. She does not need you to do the planning for her. She works fast and is efficient. She likes to see the house clean and does not procrastinate to do her work.
She is good at cooking chinese dishes e.g. steam fish, homemade wanton etc... She will make a list of things to buy before I go marketing.
Lucy is also extremely careful of wastage.
She is also patient with kids, and has two teenaged children of her own.
I am releasing her as my 2-year-old is extremely hyperactive and does not give her much rest or time to do minimal housework as he needs constant watching. Also, I'm from a traditional Muslim family and it is a bit difficult for her to adapt to our customs.
I feel that she is suitable for a non-Muslim family, especially one with slightly older children.
I need to let her go urgently within the next few days as my mom has agreed to help watch my child.
Lucy is currently getting S$450 a month with 2 Sundays off.

My friend has a good maid for URGENT transfer. Details below:
Filipino, Catholic, 44 years old, 1 off day per month (but willing to have no off days), and can look after kids or the elderly. She is very honest. So far my friend has not had problems with her over the past 2.5 years, looking after her 2 young kids.
However, the maid doesn't know how to look after newborns and my friend is expecting. That's why she has to change maids. This existing maid is more suitable for and prefers looking after kids or the elderly.

3) I do not allow use of Handphone at all through out employment period. No compromise on this.

HI, i have a Filipino maid for transfer, she's 29years old and have 2 kids. Her main duties is to look after my 2 young kids, 5mths old and 18mths. Every weekday morning, i bring the 3 of them to my MIL place and fetch them home at night.
On weekends, i take care of my babies myself while she do the housework. She's good in doing housework and taking care of my babies. Her English is generally good and she also teaches my toddler how to read. Of course like others, she has her "blur" times too.
She's with me for 3 months. Her salary is $350 without off days. Reason for transferring her is coz i'm out of job now. Cannot afford to keep her anymore.
She's available for transfer after 24th Feb 2010. Anyone interested, please PM me for details.

Hi All
I have a Indonesian transfer maid avail by end Mar2010 (when my new maid arrived)
We have good relationship, but my children cannot really "get along" with her as they are very sticky to me.. she agrees to help me until my new maid arrived.
Basically she can
1) cook (average, sometimes very nice, sometimes not so).. willing to try but she is better in malay food than Chinese food
2) Housework/cleaning wise, she is fast, acceptable (considering she cooks, cleans and take care of my 2 children) But if u are fussy, might not be suitable ..
3)Taking care of children, I kept her for 1 year plus cause I trust she will not beat my kids, although sometime my children very rough and dont want her (that is why im helping her get new empoyer)
4) Her pay SGD350 with one day off to meet her sis(her sis is working here 4yrs and renewing her contract in Apr)
5) Her history (ExSin 2004-2006) with me fr Nov08- till now
6) She requested for transfer cause she prefers to find a family with younger children if possible as she thinks if she can "click" with the children she can take care of them better (that's the reason she give me when she request for transfer)
7)No Loan / English good / Chinese -Little

Hi,
I am helping my filipino maid's daughter get employment in singapore.
Her daughter is 26 year old, married, with a son who is now about 3 years old. Her motivation for coming to Singapore to work is to secure a better livelihood for her family. I understand she is also able to cook simple meals and appears keen to learn. (My current helper can cook local dishes and basic confinement food pretty well, so if required, I am happy to send my helper to train her at your home).
She has no previous experience working in Singapore, but has taken care of her son and also helped to take care of her siblings (she is the oldest daughter) when my maid was working as a domestic helper overseas.
Her mom has been working for me for 1.5 years, taking care of my baby since she was born. I am very pleased with her and therefore try to help her where I can.
I have met her daughter and she appears to be very obedient and the homely type. She was with my 1.5 years old daughter for 4 hours. During which, I observed she was patient with her and seems to like children. She appears to be good with children and my cousins and daughter enjoyed playing with her a lot during the time spent together.

I don't think it will work out this way for simply 4 months employment relations. If you find her a good one and intend to keep her, I would suggest you to temporary put her at your relative or friend's home till your return or alternatively, send her back to agent for 4 months and you pay for lodging.

Hi all,
I found a direct hire maid who's friend is in Singapore on social visit pass and looking for a employer urgently as she will have to go back on 8 august. If anyone you can email her at dilag_nenita@yahoo.com.sg and she can forward the biodata over to you/ let you interview her. The agency I go to charges $450.00 for the full documentation but you have to sent her to Malaysia for a few days, once her IPA is out she can come into Singapore and the Agency will do the rest. I think she's very serious about working as she is a single mother with 2 kids.
The total expense you spend is $450 plus expenses for her to go Malaysia for a few days.
P.S. I am not an agent and I do not benefit from this I just pity her. |

i am planning to transfer my maid soon to get more experienced maid. She has been with me since nov 2009 and taking care (main duty) of my 9mths old bb now 18mths. English average. Single about 23yr old indon. No hp. Salary $320.
Housework: 7/10
Taking care of bb: 8.5/10
she feeds and bathes my son and makes him sleep when i am not in sin. My mum in law stays with me and she tends to find fault with the maid. I dowan to take further risks so want to transfer soon and get experienced maid. Abit slow in doing her work but still gets it done and abit forgetful at times. Attitude i must say excellent. Never rude once. Always remains quiet when being corrected.
My mum in law does cooking so not sure her cooking skills. Pls pm me if keen. |

Back in the market for a helper again.
I am currently based in Shanghai but will be returning to Singapore in March 2011 to deliver... so I am happy to wait out until March-April for the right helper.
Key responsibilities:
- look after my 2yo who is going to school in Jan 2011 and new baby(due in April) This includes: cooking/bathing/feeding etc.
- Need to do simple household chores when children are asleep or when my husband and I are at home.
- Ability to cook is a bonus but not must

Hello mommies,
I have an Indon maid to transfer, she has been with me for 15months now. She's new (I'm her first employer, she's my 2nd maid).
She's 32yo this year, and has 2 daughters in Indonesia. Husband has regular job as security guards. Her physical build was a bit plump at 150cm, with 2 slightly buck-tooth (FYI, in case some wants a perfect teeth maid)
She's mostly home-alone as we both working parents. Her main duties today are housecleaning, care for my 3yo son after half-day child-care (cook his dinner, play, etc) and bring the dog for walks. She cooks fairly well.
She's honest and friendly, loves children. However, her English is very limited, mainly because I speaks Malay to her. She will work better with someone at home and under supervision, as she would need some reminder.
Reason if letting her go: my Husband prefers someone who speaks English and also because I'm sending my son to full-day childcare next year.

Looking for a good transfer maid to help take care of my 3 kids (51/2 YO, 4 YO and 9 mths old) and household chores.
There will always be an adult at home as when my hubby and I go work, we will bring the kids to my MIL's place. The maid does not need to cook but just help with housework and take care of the kids. Need to learn fast and can speak and understand English as I am the rather impatient kind (can't help it with 3 kids...). Must be clean, cheerful and pleasant looking as my 2 elder boys can be rather picky.

Hihi,
I have an indonesian maid to let go. She is 26 this year with 1 kid in Indonesia (divorcee).
She has been with us for 1yr. Prior to that she has worked in middle east for few years taking care of eldery. Reason to let go is our son will stay in full day cc from now onwards so we don't need her anymore.
Her main duty with us is to take care of our 2yr old son. Also she will do all the housework, laundry, cook lunch & dinner.
Her strength is her english quite ok (she teached my son A-Z & 1-20, etc). She can understand basic chinese also. She is honest and very obedient. Whenever we ask her to do things she will do immediately. Also she is very patient to our son.
Her weakness is she is abit slow in doing things so need some supervision but we are ok with it because she can take care of our son well. Also my MIL is at home for the whole day so still ok for us.
I would think her is quite good as i have heard of alot of bad experience before. Pls pm me if you are seriously interested. She is available since mid Jan.

I recently direct hire a Filipino maid to tk care of 4 yo and 1 yo baby. She is in replacement of my current maid gg bk and my current maid has been coaching her since 30 march till now. However, she inform me that she cannot handle my naughty and playful 4 yo boy and a 1 yo toddler.
She is 31 yo with a 8 yr old daughter, single mother.
She has been working in sg for 4 years, she worked 2 years for Chinese family and the rest for expat family. She is generally good in cooking and housekeeping. Her ex employer wrote a appraisal stating she is good in cooking and baking.
She still has loan with me. there is no agency involve as i direct hire her from phillipines.
PM me if u would be keen to take her up. I can only release her one month prior to confirmation. Thanks
i would recommend her to employers that seek for help in housekeeping and cooking only. |

Hi, I have an Indonesian muslim maid (wears headcover) available for muslim family who will let her practice her religion & fasting (normal prayers - 5 times a day). Available anytime now.
She's been with us for 7 months and is keen to continue here in Singapore. She is good with kids (I have 3 kids ranging from 8 months - 7 yrs old currently), can cook well and is reliable. She wakes up early in the morning and would start cleaning before the kids wake up (depending on each household). Experienced in using stuff I have at home - microwave, dryer, washing machine, oven etc.
Pay : SGD 450, off day 3x per month with no loan. She has a handphone, but is responsible with it. Experience in SG : 5 years

Hi all,
I'm in process of hiring a filipino maid and was asked to sign a standard employment contact (believe meant for the embassy and also a copy will be given to the maid). However, the terms listed in the contract and my agreement with the agency differs, like for eg.
- I am required to give 1 rest day per week but agreement with agency is no off day.
- and salary is US$400 though i am only paying SG$480.
Is it ok to sign the contract though actual term differs. Am worried about the legal implication but was told that it was compulsory to sign such undertaking, otherwise the application will not be approved.
Anyone can advise?

I have a Filipino maid for transfer immediately. She is 35 this year and has 2 daughters.
She has been with me for 4 years taking care of my son since birth and shares the cleaning of my house (it's a 4 storey house so there's always housework to do) with another maid who has also been care of my 5 year old daughter since birth.
She is:
- committed
- neat and clean
- excellent with housework
- polite and obedient
- responsible
The only thing is I have not put her cooking to the test as currently I have catering arrangements which don't require my maids to cook. But I think she can cook for sure since she cooks for her family back home.
I pay her $500 a month, one day off per month and she gets to use her handphone after the kids go to bed at 8pm.

can do some cooking (guided);
hand wash most of our clothes
hand mop (not using mop)
does not need day off
she request to call home twice a month
honest (tested many times)
current pay $420 +$20 for off day.
She still owe me about 1 and half months loan.
