I have been a member since Nov 2007 but still unable to post in the WTS and Overseas Forum. Would appreciaate if u could look into it.There are people who joined in 2008 and have made the same number of posting in the forum have already have their account activated.
(I can give you the proof if u need it)
I have posted numerous times and emailed you but nothing as been done since Jan this year. In another another 2 months, I will be with the forum for 2 year. I don't think it should take you more than 9 months to grant me access. |

Marketplace and Exchange Corner (Restricted)
The following topics are restricted to current members who activated their account before 15 November 2006.
For future application, only members who have been active for one year or more can apply to join.
Saw quite a few member from 2007 and less than 1000 post.. seems that BL might think u r not active enough?? Maybe u can try to post more at
the market area and also at the dicussion thread (A Meeting Place for all Mothers and Mothers-to-be)
And some of you are less than a year, please note u must be active member at least a year b4 they approved.
I joined about 1yr+ (Feb2009 & have 1000+ post) and just able to post at Want to Sell and Spree. They just sent me a email to inform.
Hopefully BL take note and approve you all soon

Come to think of it, actually why can't SMH automate the granting of access to WTS and oversea spree site for members over 1 yr. It should be very easy to extract from the server the join date of member and batch grant the access to qualifying members.
What is the answers then for not doing this?
Could it be:
1. they don't have the technical capabilities to do so, which is highly unlikely
2. the moderators don't care because this is not generating income for the forum, ie. lowest priority among the ranks of problems they have to deal with daily.
3. they would like to grant access but they know they are creating more problems of sellers peddling their products in WTS and overseas sites thereby a) reducing the income stream in BP thread (and they have little control over it), b) generating more complaints from forumers and driving them away from SMH ...
Which are the more likely scenarios???
Just my 2 cents of thoughts. |

Now, I bought so much, i need to clear space..

Actually what is the criteria? I see people just joined last year July, with ZERO post, and yet her FIRST POST is in OVERSEAS SPREE...

i tot the only requirement was to be a member for 1 year! with the moderators' bo chap attitude, its no wonder people are posting their wts in wtb or wte! did these moderators even stop to tink that they shld probably have an automated system that auto unlocks the access once 1 year waitimg time is up.
i actually emailed bee leng abt bp details before and that was promtly replied. when i replied with the same subject line "BP details" but the content was to request for access, no sound no picture already. n i still havent gotten my access. Can i jus ask 1 qns: WHY LIKE THAT?? |

Hope the moderators can help here. If there are more requirement, then why is it not stated? Should automatic grant access for members who joined 1 year. |

Emailed the moderators and administrators infinity for access to post in sprees and WTS after being a member for more than a year but got ignored?!?! Was hoping that they could grant access if not just an email to explain why access has not been granted or on explanation how to be qualified would suffice. A reply wouldn't hurt or would it? |

Moderators are IGNORANT on emails/postings here, don't bother asking, they never grant unless they are doing some sort of system maintenance! |
